Chapter 4

'y/n will you go on a date with me?'
I was shocked and couldn't get any words out.
'Sorry I know I shouldn't have asked'he sighed in disappointment
'YES ofc I would love to go on a date with you'
'Great' you could see the huge smiles on both our faces.Benny then started walking back to his house across the street.

I walked into my house smiling.
'Why so smiley mija'
'Benny asked me out!!'I squealed
'Thats great mija'

I walk upstairs and get dressed into some short shorts and a oversized Beatles shirt.I keept thinking of how unreal this all felt and how amazing it was.I then fall asleep moments later.

I wake up and go brush my teeth today Is my date with benny. We decided to go to the dingo a small little restaurant in town. Benny will be picking me up at 6 and its 4 so I started getting ready. I put on a simple black crop top with a tight black skirt that went to my mid thighs. It really showed off my curves I thought. Then I slipped on some black heels. I curled my hair and put it in a half up half down hairstyle. I put on a bit of mascara,lip gloss and blush. When I finished it was already 5:45. 'Benny would be here any minute' i thought so I went downstairs and waited for him. About 10 min later I heard a knock on my door and there he stood. Benny was in a nice button up shirt and had fitted jeans on. He had his hair fluffed out, it looked cute. And his signature pf flyers. He looked up at me, 'Hey y/n u look beautiful'. 'Thank you' I blushed. 'You don't look to bad yourself' 'you ready to go' he asked 'yeah let's go' I shut the door and we started walking to the dingo with our fingers interwined.

We had small talk like how was your day or plans for this week. When we arrived Benny held the door open for me. 'Thank you kind sir' I said 'Your welcome ma lady'. I laughed at him and we went to find a booth. We sat down and a girl a little older than us took our order. 'What can I get you two today' she said with a smile. 'I'll have a chocolate milkshake' I said ' make that two' 'And what can I get yall to eat'. 'I'll get a cheeseburger and fries' 'And me too' Benny added on. 'Your food will be out shortly. She left leaving me and Benny alone. 'Can I ask you something' Benny asked me. 'Yeah of course' 'How long have you had a crush on me'. I was afraid of him asking me that because then he would know I've wanted him my whole God damn life. 'Um ngl basically since we were 9 ik you probably think I'm weird and have liked you since like forever...' ' no not at all I also liked you for a while now but I just wanted to know' he said 'Its ok'. We made small talk for a while before the food got there.

We enjoyed our food with many laughs and small talk. We were gonna pay and Benny would not budge on letting me pay. 'No y/n you can't pay im the one who invited you so I'm paying' he said. 'Benny man come on we should at least split it' ' No and you ain't gonna make me budge y/n so just let me pay ok'. I finally gave up and let him pay. We walked home hand in hand again and just enjoyed each other's company. When we got to my front porch we were saying our good byes. 'I had an amazing time with you y/n and I enjoyed spending my night with you' he told me. 'I also had an amazing time with you Benny. It was great and thank you for everything' 'It was nothing anyways I gotta go because its getting late and my momma would get worried'. 'Ok bye Rodriguez good night' 'Good night y/l/n'. He gave me a peck on the lips and ran next door to his house.

I walked in with a huge smile plastered on my face. I tiptoed up to my room. I took off my make up and slipped into a nice warm shower. I got out and changed into some black shorts and an oversized white tee shirt. I brushed my teeth then slipped into bed. The only thing my mind could think about was my date with benny and how magical it was. Soon about 22 minutes later I started to daze off into my sleep with a grin on my face.
