Chapter 2

Me and Benny walked out to the school hand-in-hand and made our way to the Sandlot for a quick game.

'Yes I can't wait to play ball everyday again this summer'
'Me too and now you can see my so beautiful face everyday for 3 months'I said messing around
'I don't mind mi amor'
(𝓜𝔂 𝓵𝓸𝓿𝓮)
'oh really' I cocked an eyebrow

We laughed on our way to the Sandlot and making jokes.We got there and everyone was there except ham.

'hey y/n, hey Benny'
'hey guys were is ham' You both say
'We don't know we've been waiting for a while now though'

About 2 minutes later ham got there and let me tell you the guys were not so happy😬

'Ham,the hell have you been we've been waiting here a while now' Followed by lots of 'yeah's and a 'yeah yeah'
'Hey,hey calm down I'm here already aren't I'

Everyone just rolled there eyes at ham's lateness.They all based up and I went to the home plate were me and Benny took turns to bat.

'y/n you wanna bat first'
'sure thanks'

I smiled at him and walked to the home plate.I got ready for denuñez's pitch.He threw a curve ball and the 'Crack' of the ball hit the bat was heard.There was a boy standing right were the ball was headed.I was quick to yell though.

'WATCH OUT' I exclaimed

The boy tried to catch the ball with his plastic mitt but instead fell backwards straight on his butt.All the guys laughed except Me and Benny.I turned around and gave Benny a 'sorry' look.The boy was gonna throw the ball but when he did it only landed about 2 feet in front of him.The guys all laughed historically that they fell to the floor laughing.I then saw the young boy run away.Thats when you noticed him.I was the new kid that lived infront of my house.

'Really guys' I said

I was mad since I felt really bad for the kid.And he was probably very embarrassed.

'We're sorry y/n' They all said
'its ok but don't do it again you could really hurt someone ya know'

After a short lecture for the boys we played a few more games and the we all went home.

'8 clock tommorow guys'
'yes ham bye'

Me and Benny were walking to our house's and then we stopped at my porch.

'You we're really nice to stick up for that kid ya know mi amor'

'Yeah I just felt bad for him'
'Well I gotta go mi amor see you tommorow'

I said bye as well then he hugged me and kissed my cheek.I walked inside to see my mom on the couch watching a novela.

'Hola mija,hay sopa en la nevera si quieres un poco
'𝙷𝚎𝚢 𝚍𝚊𝚞𝚐𝚑𝚝𝚎𝚛 𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚛𝚎 𝚒𝚜 𝚜𝚘𝚞𝚙 𝚒𝚗 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚏𝚛𝚒𝚍𝚐𝚎 𝚒𝚏 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚠𝚊𝚗𝚝 𝚜𝚘𝚖𝚎'
'ok gracias ama'
'𝚘𝚔 𝚝𝚑𝚊𝚗𝚔𝚜 𝚖𝚘𝚖'

I heat up some soup and then I went upstairs to my room.I turned on the nice warm water so I could shower.After I was finished with my shower I changed into some black shorts and a pastel pink oversized shirt.
I laid on my bed and quickly feel fast asleep.
