Chapter Five

[Jimin]
I am home now. Thank you for today, I'm going to head to bed, I'm super tired but I enjoyed today. Please stop by my office anytime.

[Taehyung]
Anytime? that's tempting, little one.

[Jimin]
My shift varies... 11 am to 8 pm, it's quieter in the morning. Meaning, I usually don't have anyone scheduled for the morning.

[Taehyung]
That information was given with intent I'm sure

[Jimin]
Morning, I'll see you in the morning. :)

[Taehyung]
You said it not me... Get some rest though tiny.

[Jimin]
Alright! goodnight Taehyung! enjoy your night.

[Taehyung]
I will!

Jimin smiles to himself as he puts his phone down. Takes the moment to think about how well he and Taehyung happen to bond. It baffles him really. How he easily bonds with someone who was just a stranger.

"New friend"

He says to himself out loud. Officially rolling over in bed and allowing himself to fall asleep and await the next day.

That came pretty fast though. The night seemed to have raced by in a second. Faster than Jimin expected but all was well when he woke up with a refreshed feel. He checks the time. Just an hour before he had to be at work and a couple of minutes before his alarm clock go off. He snoozes it. It's not needed right now.

the sunbeams into his window. it's welcoming. Warm against his bare skin. Today already seems to look good. Jimin is in such a good mood today and the clear sky and beautiful sun are aiding in that. There's a buzz outside from cars passing, people socializing, Maybe they are on their way to work as well, school? college?

He takes a shower. pulls out his sweetly scented body wash that exfoliates and gives his skin a soft feeling. Today is just one of those days he thinks. The water is warm and welcoming. Officially washing away all the sleep and tiredness from Jimin's body. He feels awake now, wide awake.

When he finishes his outfit is already in mind. A white T-Shirt. It's v cut and reveals his chest just a bit. And he tucks those into the hem of tan pants. and a belt that highlights how slim his waist is.

White sneakers and his usual touch of makeup and his outfit feel complete. So he makes his way out of the door with his bag and car keys in hand. But then he takes a look at his car and automatically decides.

His job isn't far. Today is a good day to walk. There's a breeze outside and it feels so good against Jimin's skin he smiles like a crazy person when he walks down the sidewalk. Happy. he feels oddly happy.

Come to think of it. Jimin has no idea what has him so happy today. It's a regular day he swears it is. The sun is rarely not shining, and his sweet-scented body wash is always in his bathroom waiting to be used. Today isn't not normal. So what exactly made him so excited today. It isn't until his ten-minute walk to his job that the sight in front of him makes him realize.

That's why I'm so happy today

Jimin makes his way towards the figure next to a car. two beverages in a cup holder and something else in hand. Jimin slowly tries not to react and quickly walks over to Kim Taehyung and then smiles with a tilt of the head.

so much for not reacting

"I'm hoping you didn't have breakfast today."

"What if I say yes."
