Backstory: For anyone who thought Peter Parker is the youngest avenger, think again. Dimitri was only 5 when she burned down her house, killing her parents. Everyone thought it was an accident and her older brother Zack let her use the stove, thus Zack ended up going to juvie. Dimitri was sent to live with her foster parent for life (since no one wanted to adopt her for some reason), which happened to be Tony Stark. Stark knew the truth of what happened and made the little girl gloves so she doesn't accidentally burn down another house or something, and trained her to use them well while he was at it.
10 years later Dimitri was now a prominent avenger and no longer had accidents, since she could control and also extinguish the flames if she concentrated enough. Tony was very overprotective of his foster daughter and would only let her go on easy missions. This made her a risk taker with a love for adventure, which ultimately led to her to recklessly challenge Thanos in the Infinity War as she defended Tony and Dr Strange. Her flames had little to no affect on Thanos as he easily defeated her. She is currently in a critical condition after Thanos crushed her nearly to death, and did not disintegrate in the end. Her fate during Endgame is unknown.
