Backstory:
No one expected Arion Rampart to be born in 18 BBY, much less born force sensitive. Conceived while his father was first getting ready to propose the Defense Recruitment Bill and born at the time of his escape from Erebus, Arion was a premature afterthought child with an 11 year old brother and a 3 year old sister. It was hard enough with Callista being as young as she was already, but according to Edmon, "this child shall grow up in an Empire protected by its people."
As it turned out, Arion wasn't meant to be protected by stormtroopers- rather, he was at risk of being hunted when he was discovered to be Force sensitive in late 18 BBY- early 17 BBY. As a result, his mother, Delara Ivel dropped him at the doorstep of a local Hidden Path safehouse to protect her child, her family, and her reputation as Admiral of the Imperial Navy. Immediately, he was taken to Jabiim, where Kawlan Roken practically adopted him.
Fast forward over 8 years later, Arion was now a child of the Path, happily running around in the Jabiim safehouse with other children and his toy droid, LA-R1 when the Empire came to hunt down the network and capture a certain man by the name of Obi Wan Kenobi. As a result, he, along with everyone else were evacuated and relocated to Tanalorr, where Arion eventually fell in love with Jedi history so much so that he wanted to become a Jedi himself. He pestered Roken for years, only to be rejected every time with a simple, "You're too young", or "It's too dangerous to be a Jedi in this time and day."
In early 4 BBY, Roken finally relented and sent Arion aboard the Liberty II to meet his newly assigned master- the recently knighted Eli Henderson. Eli was reluctant to take on a padawan at first, but gave in to Roken's pleas after hearing that no one else would take him. Lucky for Arion, he ended up going to his first mission on Garel almost immediately after he arrived, with his training beginning shortly after the mission to rescue Kanan and Eli from Mustafar.
It was also there, aboard the Phoenix Home that Arion met his older brother, Rebel Lieutenant Marien Rampart- a rather cross, no- nonsense man with a tragic past. In time, he would get to know him better, while learning more about his birth family- the good, the bad, and the ugly.
