Backstory: Chan Isla was born on Echiva, but was taken as an infant to train in the ways of the Force. A precocious but relaxed youngling, Chan would ace every exam, despite often coming late for class. Her closest friends were Lysia Sentha, Cere Junda, and Kendall Chance. Eventually Chan became the padawan of Jedi Master Tera Sinube before taking the Trials and being knighted.
Around the same time, the Clone Wars began with the Battle of Geonosis. Chan became one of the few Jedi Generals with more than 1 Republic naval officer in her fleet, in addition to her clone commander and padawan, Devan Raj. The constant squabbling gave her daily headaches, hence she was more than happy to allow one to temporarily transfer to the 125th.
Chan would eventually be killed in the Jedi Temple during Operation Knightfall, along with her padawan. As for her admirals, they both became the Imperial imbeciles they already were developing into. Captain Engrid, however, retired to teach in the Naval Academy.
