Through the whole day of school I avoid Ace anywhere I went in the school from classes to lunch break; I don't know why but I just felt like I needed to like a safety thing I always did when I was little I couldn't help it but it was the only thing that I knew through my life hid and run.
Right now I was coming out of a room signing up for a club that I loved the most, I was excited since the club people were really nice and just asked very little questions for me; the leader of named Nami so she was very nice to talk to. In my little world someone bumped into me making me drop my books and schoolwork, rushing to pick them up until someone started talking.
"Watch where you're going!" a woman voice came out of nowhere.
I looked up seeing a girl named Saya Higa she was in a couple of my classes mostly English and art, she had long black hair that looked like silk and red eyes that were like ruby's if you looked hard enough.
"Hold on, you're the new girl Lilly right?" she paused for a minute before she looked at me fully.
"Yeah, aye am" I whispered but she heard me and broke out laughing at my talking.
"Oh my god! I don't think I ever heard the worst talking in my life until you showed up" she laughed out loudly while I looked to the ground gathering my things in my hands but she pushed my work out of my hands making them scatter once more.
"Look weirdo, you don't belong here go back to whatever hole you crawled from; this school is for smart people only" she leaned down to my height hissing out the word smart at me.
I said nothing to her because this was a fight not worst fighting about, I know very well bullies only do this to make them look better and feel better; not like it didn't hurt because it did but I wasn't going to let her know that it was getting to me right now.
"I saw you come out of the club room, so which one did you go with? How to speak?" she kept going trying to poke at me some more.
"Glee club" I whispered since that club only had dancing and I liked doing dancing a lot and I didn't have to talk just danced.
That's when she laughed again as I once again started gathering my books and papers on the floor.
"Oh my god, this day could not get any worse" she said when she looked at me again.
"Enough Saya" a deep voice came out making her laughing stop.
"Oh, Ace I was looking for you" she switched to bitch to sweet girl in a split second.
"Why don't we leave this loser and go somewhere private and fun" she smiled as she stood in front of him placing her hands on his shoulder whispering the last to part to him.
"I rather jump off a bridge than fuck you" he said to her in a serious tone.
She just pouted and huffed before she walked away with her nose in the air.
I was thankful she was gone, reaching for a book I met Ace's hand on it when he kneeled down to help me pick up my books; picking my head up to let my blue eyes meet his made me blush a little bit when he looked at me.
"Hi Lilly" Ace said to me with the warmest smile I have ever seen.
"H-hey" I said with a stutter knowing my cheeks were red from the blushing.
We both stood up as he handed me my last book that was on the floor, I could feel my heart pounding which only worsened the blushing I'm sure.
"Its been a while" Ace said to me with that smile still on his face.
"It haz" I said smiling softly myself.
"You look great" he said to me still smiling.
"You too" I really didn't know what to say or do when I'm around him it was weird feeling these butterflies in my stomach but yet amazing.
Before he asked something else the school bell rang for another class to start for everyone when everyone started filling the halls once again with students.
"Sorry aye have to go" I said while looking at the ground before turning away and walking to my final class for the day.
I slightly looked behind me seeing Ace sighing before he turned around and walked away before seeing him smile seeing him hug a girl with blue eyes and hair, seeing them smiling and laugh made my heart once again ache knowing that I couldn't be normal like anyone here but I guess it was fine and I guess being alone was fine too.
