7 [Bad Memories]

Another day at school and I noticed everyone gossiping in the hall all excited about something that I had no idea what it was about so I just ignored them and went to my locker and went to my classes for the day just doing my homework until it was around lunch time.

I was walking down the halls until someone rammed their body into mine in a death grip hug which took me by surprise for sure when I fell on the ground.

"Lilly you going to come to the mall with us today?" the sound of Nami came to my ears when I looked at her.

"Um, Aye don't know" I said unsure if I should go or not but I don't know why she was excited to just go to the mall again.

"Oh come on we need to buy dresses" she said as she helped me stand up once again.

"Dresses?" I asked confused why I would need something like that, Nami's face was like 'you have to be kidding right?' when I was confused.

"For home coming, we hold it every year before the graduation" she explained which made my face go pale and my face in fear the moment she said home coming.

"Hey, you okay?" she asked when she saw my face now.

"Um, sorry Aye'll be out of town for a few weeks but tanks anyways" I made a lie right up before I walked away from her before she could ask any more questions.

Walking fast down the halls my mind filled with many bad memories from my last school that held a home coming, being the odd girl out I tried asking a boy to come with me but he slammed that idea really fast; Killer offered to take me hell even Kid, Heat and Wire offered if Killer or one of them couldn't go but I said to not worry about it and to go have fun with their dates; so I stayed at home alone crying myself to sleep knowing that I will never be accepted by anyone around me.

In my thoughts I bumped into someone making me almost fall over but someone caught me which made me look up seeing Ace was the one who was holding me when he caught me in time.

"Hey there" he said when we stood straight again.

"Hi" I said softly playing with my blond hair a little bit.

"You okay? You seem bothered by something" he asked clearly seeing something was wrong.

"Oh just worried about homework, nothing really; what about you?" I made another lie before changing the subject pretty fast.

"I'm good just being bothered by every single girl in the school" he sighed as he placed a hand behind his head being tired of being asked by every girl who wanted to go to the dance with him.

"Well, Aye'm sure that will die down" I faked a smile feeling a little pain in my heart.

"Maybe, but will I see you at the dance?" he asked from out of nowhere.

"Sad to say no, Aye'm going to visit some family during the home coming stuff" I said making up something that sounded real enough for people to believe.

I thought for a moment I saw some sadness in his eyes but I'm sure that my eyes were playing tricks on me so I thought nothing of it.

"That's to bad" he said with a sad tone but I'm sure he only meant it as being friends.

"Eh, nothing big about it....Aye have to get going Aye'll see you later" I said shrugging it off before needed to get out of there so I wouldn't be seen right through my lies I was spilling out.

"Okay, see ya later" Ace said with a small warm smile when I walked pass him waving at him as he waved back at me.

Through out the whole day my mind was filled with those memories that I wish I could forget about them; in classes I was barely paying attention to anything the teachers were talking about and I was even avoiding my friends since home coming was the only thing that this school could talk about and I hated it so much.

Right after school was over I was in the parking lot waiting for Killer since he brought me here to school today, I was scrolling through my phone being busy waiting for him to show up with the others since Killer's car could fit all of us but Kid always brought his motorcycle over to school.

"Dude, you got a date on the first day?" the voice of Wire came out which made me look up at the boys coming out of the school.

"Not that big of a deal; I went up to her and asked her" Killer just shrugged this off liek it was nothing and it was.

"So what's her name?" Kid asked with a smirk on his face.

"Vivi, she's in some of my classes" Killer answered like normal not making a big deal since the boys would tease him a lot because of dating things.

"Still, you got someone" Heat said in a blunt way like he always have been.

I just sighed knowing that they would be teasing Killer none stop and I felt bad for him since he had to deal with those stupid jokes they make about him when he would date a girl or secretly like one.

"Hey, Lilly" Killer called out which made the boys shut up.

"Hi" I said with a bored tone.

And by the look behind Killer's mask he knew my tone and the way I was acting, he knew something was wrong and so did the rest of the boys when they felt the silence around us just grow by the minute.

"Ready to head home?" Killer asked as he grabbed his key's.

"Yep" was all I said as I got into the back of the car.

Kid climbed onto his motorcycle as Wire sat in the passenger seat and Heat sat to my left as I stared out of the car through the window when Killer started the car and soon began to drive off following Kid back home; I seem to turn by head just enough to look back at the school to see a glimpse of Ace speaking to a girl seeing her smiling and excited about something. I looked back out my window with my heart beginning to break again but I wouldn't let my tears fall in front of the boys since I didn't want them to think I was weak so I held it in but everything inside of me was hurting so much that it was hard to try and keep my cool until we got home.
