We arrived at the mall seeing it being pretty busy here since it was after school now and everyone liked coming here to have some fun before heading home to do homework. I was a little nerves since I never hung out with anyone before let alone a whole group of people but there is a first time for everything.
Right now we were just walking through the mall, sometimes Nami would drag me away to go to a store filled with clothes and always having me dress up for her and tried to buy stuff for me but I told her I never needed new things. But I'm sure she snuck away to get me things to cheer me up which I was cheering up, being around these guys was something different for sure; they were lively and were filled with energy for days.
Luffy was complaining that he was hungry so we went to the big cafeteria letting everyone get what they wanted to eat and for Luffy it was nothing but meat and it was a lot I don't think I ever seen anyone eat that much not even Killer and the boys. There was always laughter around them as they told us stories about themselves that were funny, I told them a few things about myself which felt really nice to talk about.
Once we ate up the day was now night time so we had to head home pretty soon, we exited the mall the sight of a orange cowboy hat caught my attention which made me look up from the ground to see Ace leaning against his motorcycle scanning things on his phone.
"Hey Ace!!!" Luffy screamed out which brought his attention towards us.
I looked down at the ground before my eyes met his while Luffy ran over to Ace giving his brother a hug, before making small talk.
"You okay?" Nami asked me when she saw me looking away.
"Aye'm fine, Aye should be heading home now" I whispered to her before speaking normally for all to hear me.
"Wait Lilly" Ace called out when he heard I was leaving.
I turned around to look at him with a 'what' face wondering what he wanted, sure he helped me at school today but he didn't even come to see me after I ran out of the school.
"I could give you a ride home" he offered as he rubbed the back of his neck nervously and I thought I saw some blush on his cheeks but I played it off.
"Well Ay-" I began to speak but Nami nudged me a little and giving me a look saying 'come on do it' which I sighed to her look.
"Okay" I sighed knowing she was smirking once she looked away from me.
I walked over to Ace and Luffy waving goodbye to the others before Ace handed me a black helmet, I took it and placed it on my head.
"See you back home Luffy" Ace said once he sat on the motorcycle as I joined him sitting behind him.
"Okay see ya" Luffy smiled brightly before he ran off to the others who were waiting by their cars to head home as well.
Ace placed on his own helmet and soon started the engine, I placed my hands on the back of the seat to make sure I didn't fall off but Ace wasn't having any of that since his hands suddenly took my arms and made them wrap around him which I blushed to deeply being this close to him; since his shirt was always opened I could feel his abs clearly which only made me blush even more.
I wanted to keep my idea and hold the seat but when he took off I tightened my grip around him which made him chuckle since I could feel his body slightly move which was from laughing at how I jumped.
I could feel my heart pounding from being on this since I only have been on this once when I was little and that was scary for sure but I also couldn't help but feel safe around Ace as we drove down the roads of the city letting the streetlamps light our way to my house, to be honest I didn't want this to end not ever just me and Ace forever together but I know that wasn't going to happen not with the way I am.
Lost in my thoughts the motorcycle soon came to a slow stop in front of my house seeing the lights were on upstairs told me the boys were still up waiting for me.
Ace parked the motorcycle before getting up taking off his helmet and placing his hat back on his head, I took off my helmet shaking out my blonde hair so I didn't have biker helmet hair; unknown to my eyes as I shook my hair. Ace was staring at me almost like in a trance as I fixed my hair.
"Tanks for the ride" I said with a small smile once I got off of the bike.
"Y-yeah no problem anytime" he stuttered a bit, now noticing the blush on his face made me wonder why he would be blushing but again I shook off the feeling.
"Aye'll see you at school tomorrow" I said to him with a smile on my face.
"Right, see you then" Ace said with his own smile that made my heart jump.
he got on his motorcycle taking off his hat again and putting on his helmet before starting the engine up again and driving off, I watched him until he was out of sight when he turned the corner to head home.
I still smiled to myself as I walked through the shop and to the door to upstairs, having the sounds of the boys laughing and the sounds of gunfire from their video game came to my ears; I lightly shook my head before I opened the door heading into the apartment made for us.
"Hey sis" Killer called out once he saw I came in closing the door behind me.
"Hay" I said with a smile taking my shoes off.
"Did you have fun?" he asked wanting to know if I felt better after hanging out with Luffy and the other's.
"Sure did, well as much Aye would love to stay and watch you boys kill zombies I'm heading to bed" I said with my smile still on my face as I walked pass the boys.
"Night Lilly" they all said together with their eyes still on the screen.
I chuckled a little at them saying it at the same time, I made my way to the stairs that went to the rooms heading to mine which was at the far end of the hall with doors; opening and closing the door behind me I sighed for a moment with my smile still on my face before flopping down on my bed looking up at the ceiling thinking about spending that small time with Ace.
