Saturday, always a great day to just relax from school work and have fun; but really for me it was a perfect time to basically avoid people from school, I needed a break from this whole home coming shit that everyone is all up in arms about. My phone has been beeping with texts from Nami none stop since she kept asking me if I wanted to go pick out dresses or go have some fun with the others but I kept ignoring her until I had enough and text her back telling her I had to go to work today which was true I worked on the weekends as a waitress.
Between helping Killer and the boys around the shop here and working there it was pretty interesting how filled my life was without dealing with other people that didn't make fun of me in any way. I had a long shift today so I was getting ready to head out; putting my hair in a ponytail and putting on light makeup before putting on my outfit for work before grabbing my bag heading down from my room to the living room.
"Aye'm heading out" I said passing the boys waving at them.
"Alright, we'll stop by whenever we can" Killer called out when I reached the door.
"Sounds good" I called out when I opened the door and closed it behind me.
Putting on my sunglasses before I started walking to work that was only a few blocks away downtown; since that's where my house was, it was a good area for some people but some parts were a bit dangerous at night but nothing I could handle if I had to walk back home.
Reaching the diner called Black Clover Pub I entered in the back hearing people were already here, opening my locker and placing my bag of extra clothes inside before closing it; grabbing my notebook and pen before coming to the kitchen hearing the clicking and clanking of the cooks working on things as I passed them giving small hello's here and there.
"Hey Lilly" the voice of Koala came to my ears.
"Hey" I replied as I grabbed a tray as the bartender gave me some drinks on it.
"Busy today Aye see" I said as we walked together carrying trays.
"Sure is, guess that's the weekend for you or it might be the big game coming up soon" she said as she placed food on a table behind me.
"What game?" I asked a little confused as I wrote down some orders before following her to the kitchen again.
"Oh, the basketball game they have with every home coming" she answered with a smile but I frowned a bit hearing home coming again.
"Oh, I guess you've heard to much of these pass few days; sorry I brought it up again" she said knowing I didn't like home coming that much, she was actually one of my friends from school that I worked with and told about my past she was my best friend.
"Its okay, so ya and Sabo going to the dance?" I said with a small smile before smirking knowing her and her boyfriend were going to go.
