5 [With A Few Good Friends]

I honesty didn't know how long I was sitting under the tree but I could care less right now, being out here away from everyone was fine I liked being alone mostly but also at the same time I didn't like it but I guess that was just me in some sort of way.

I didn't know what was going on inside but I'm sure Ace wouldn't care really, sure he has helped me in a few things but I couldn't help but feel envious to those other girls that he seem to be hanging around twenty four seven. But I guess being different has its ups and downs, in my own thoughts I didn't hear the group of footsteps coming towards me.

That was until I felt someone pat my head which made me jump a bit before looking up seeing Luffy and his friends in front of me looking worried.

"You okay?" Nami asked as she kneeled down beside me.

I could only shrug at her question, how can someone answer a question on being okay or not; I know I wasn't okay and I was always bad at lying so they would see right through me so I didn't bother trying to do that.

"We'll make sure she'll pay for stupid trick" Luffy said getting all pumped up.

"Don't bother, Luffy" I said to him which took him by surprise just like the others.

"Why not?" Robin asked as she sat on my left.

"There's no point in tryin' to phight, phighting makes it worse and it just shows people that you are willing to bite at their bait" I answered her question still looking at my feet.

My mother always told me that people who fight or pick on others are just trying to make them feel better and trying to see a reaction; if you don't fight back then they will leave you alone and if you do fight back then they will keep coming after you because you reacted to them like a child in a grown ups body.

"But still, it doesn't make it right that she does this to you" Usopp said to me.

"She's only going after you because your new here and a lot more super than she is" Franky said after him before making a pose when he said super which made us smile and laugh.

"Ya think Aye am super?" I asked still not believing it.

"Damn right" he said with a big smile giving me a thumbs up.

I smiled a little bit and looked back at the ground again before the sounds of the school bell rang which grabbed our attention.

"Come on, lets go do something fun; your brother already grabbed your school work from your locker so you can hang with us for a while" Nami said with a warm smile.

"You guys want to hang out?" I asked like it was so new to me or I never been asked that which I haven't before.

"We sure do, let's all go to the mall for some fun!" Luffy said with a big smile filled with energy which I wondered where he keeps it all.

"O-ok" I said before standing up and soon following them to their group of cars, getting in Robin's car with Nami as the boys piled in Franky's car as we headed out to the mall to have some fun.
