I locked my screen and rolled out of bed, grabbing my 'uniform' from atop of my dresser.

By backside ached and burned making me walk funny, but it wasn't that noticeable to me at least.

I take another quick shower before getting dressed and going downstairs to eat breakfast. My mom was sitting at the table smoking a cigarette and circling things in a magazine. My mom was only 29 since she had me when she was 13- literally still a kid herself and was completely capable of getting a job but decided to just let me pay for everything.

"Get me rolling papers and Tuscan menthols while you're out." she tells me as I sit down with my yogurt. "What if I bought you an ecig or a vape?" I suggest. "Why don't you just do what I tell you to do?"

"Mom I could get you an electronic cigarette that'll last a year or more and all you have to do is charge it for like 10 dollars instead of buying a 6 dollar pack of cigarettes twice a week that's - $624 a year versus $10 and you're less likely to get lung cancer and they don't have a smell." I reason.

"Since you're so smart why don't you go ahead and drop out... Get a full time job." She says, sipping her coffee. "I just don't want you to die from lung cancer you're still pretty young. Can I just get both and you at least try the electronic one?"

"Ha at the rate you're going you'll die before I do either from starving to death or getting HIV." She snarls. "Or maybe you'll trip on a rock and break all your bones since you never eat."
