To relax (verb)
- means to calm the mind, the body, or both. Relaxing can quiet your mind and make you feel peaceful and calm. Your body also reacts when you relax. For example, your muscles may be less tense and more flexible. There are different ways to relax.
- There are lots of ways to relax. Some ways are designed to relax your mind and some to relax your body. But because of the way the mind and body are connected, many relaxation methods work on both the mind and the body.তততততততততততত তততততততততততত ততততত
To meditate (verb) or a meditation (noun)
- Meditation is a practice where an individual uses a technique - such as mindfulness, or focusing the mind on a particular object, thought, or activity - to train attention and awareness, and achieve a mentally clear and emotionally calm and stable state.
- Mindfulness meditation isn't about letting your thoughts wander. But it isn't about trying to empty your mind, either. Instead, the practice involves paying close attention to the present moment - especially our own thoughts, emotions and sensations - whatever it is that's happening.তততততততততততত তততততততততততত ততততত
I mentioned this before but I'll mention it again, you can do whatever you love in order to relax whether that's eating food, playing video games, reading a book, listening to music... Anything will work as long as it relaxes you and makes your body feel at ease at the end.
Some things I tried and I'd recommend to you doing to are:
• Take slow, deep breaths. Or try other breathing exercises for relaxation.• Soak in a warm bath.
• Listen to soothing music.
• Practice mindful meditation. The goal of mindful meditation is to focus your attention on things that are happening right now in the present moment. For example, listen to your body. Is your breathing fast, slow, deep, or shallow? Do you hear noises, such as traffic, or do you hear only silence? The idea is just to note what is happening without trying to change it.
• Write. Some people feel more relaxed after they write about their feelings. One way is to keep a journal.
• Use guided imagery. With guided imagery, you imagine yourself in a certain setting that helps you feel calm and relaxed. You can use audiotapes, scripts, or a musical playlist to guide you through the process.
• Try progressive muscle relaxation. This process involves tensing and relaxing each muscle group. Progressive muscle relaxation can reduce anxiety and muscle tension. If you have trouble falling asleep, this method may also help with your sleep problems. When you relax your muscles, your body gets the signal that it is okay to fall asleep.
• Take a walk or do some other activity. Making time to do things you enjoy can also help you relax.
• Get a massage or have someone give you a back rub.
• Have a warm drink that doesn't have alcohol or caffeine in it, such as herbal tea or warm milk.
Relaxing is very important when it comes to shifting because in order to move your subconscious to another reality where you'll be fully conscious, it's important to be relaxed - only then your left side of the brain will be able to turn itself down and help you shift to the place where you want to be/go.
When I first started with shifting I had a hard time relaxing and meditating because I was way too excited to just shift already, so being so excited threw me off track all the time. I'd go to bed while trying a method but I wouldn't be relaxed/calmed down so I guess maybe that's why it took me a year to actually shift.I would also get scared by the calmness that I felt when relaxing, I'd always get tingles all over my body and usually I'd just twitch out of nowhere and that would throw me off track too. Apparently that's normal but it would make me so angry since it would wake me up. I find meditation and relaxation before shifting a good way to also heal your anxiety, if you have it. It helps you get through it step by step, even though they're baby steps they eventually make you completely calm and anxiety is almost not possible to happen around you.
