It is kind of self-explanatory but it is the same as shifting except this time, you get to bring your friends from your cr. You can go with as many or as little people as you want. You have to get consent from all participating people as in you cannot force them to group shift if they don't want to.

How to do it? Well it's pretty simple all you have to do is have the same script as everyone else that's going with you, it has to be exactly the same, every single thing has to be the same... If you script that someone gets hurt in your DR then everyone else has to script that as well. The only thing different in your script would be the stuff about you, your personal stuff (your appearance, personality, safe word and so on).
I recommend you all scripting a place where you wake up together, you don't have to but it's easier to find each other and start the adventure together immediately.

It is much more advanced and difficult than shifting by yourself as it requires much more energy so it is recommended for you to have shifted at least once on your own before trying this so you know what you are doing.
Before you shift, set the intention of you guys shifting to the same reality and just have the same intentions in general.

I also recommend going through your scripts at least 3-5 times to make sure you've got everything the same, the smallest detail could mess everything up and you could all wake up in different places.

Make sure you all have the same energy for example, a positive mindset and intention that you will shift together because if someone is lacking energy and feeling negative about it thinking that it won't happen then it will bring everyone down with them. You need to make sure that you are on the same page.

I have never tried this before since I'm waiting for my best friend to successfully shift by herself first but as soon as she succeeds we'll try to do so. I've heard that it's good to script a waiting room together in which you all meet before crossing the road and going into y'all desired reality. Apparently it's very helpful to see if everyone is there and ready to move on, it's a good way to notice if someone's missing etc.

Also you don't have to use the same method. Everyone in the group/duo can use their favourite method, the method they feel most comfortable with using, the method that helped them shift multiple times before. You also don't have to be in the same room in order for the group shift to work, you can all be in your own rooms. As long as you know the person personally, distance doesn't matter, you will be able to shift with them.

Do you have to shift at the same exact time? Not at all! You can shift any time you want regardless of whether others are or not. This is because if someone else who you were group shifting with was to shift a bit later on at a different time, you'd be able to meet them there as you're going to the same reality - unless you've already shifted back of course.
And if one of you leaves the DR that does not force everyone else to leave, you all have your own safe words which help you get back to your CR, so if your safe word is "I'm going back home" than that isn't the safe word for your friends which means you'll leave but they'll stay in the DR.
