As mentioned, some of the shifting methods will have you go to sleep in order to work and some will have you stay awake. For sleep methods, obviously, you will wake up inside your DR after using the method before bed. For awake methods, however, it can be a little bit more tricky to know when you've made it. When should you open your eyes? A common tactic that people use in order to figure this out is to script that your eyes will automatically open when you've successfully shifted. Others script that they smell a specific scent when they've shifted, such as mint or cinnamon. With this, you'll know for sure when you've shifted, instead of just trying to guess and likely opening your eyes too soon.

I myself, as said before, scripted that I smell freshly cut grass with a tint of a strong male perfume. I've never tried scripting "eyes automatically open when successfully shifted" but I've seen some people try it and they've got some successful stories about it.

While it is possible to shift on your first try, it's 100 percent okay if you don't. Shifting is an easy thing, as we unconsciously do it hundreds of times daily whenever we make a decision or do an action, but it could take a while before you can make such a big shift to your DR - It took me a year to successfully shift and I kept doubting myself but please do not doubt yourself. No matter how long it may take, just remember that you are capable of shifting. Keep your head and your vibrations held high! You got this and don't you dare give up, your comfort character misses you and they can't wait to see you.

Overall, don't focus too much on the process. You don't want to be thinking too hard about your script or what method you're going to use and completely forget about your goal. While these steps are helpful for when you are first beginning, you don't have to do everything exactly as I described it. These are advices after all, not rules. This is meant to guide your own personal process. Do what you find works the best for you and allows you to be the most comfortable.

Most importantly don't force anything onto yourself, don't beat yourself down if it doesn't work out even if you've been trying for the past week, 3 months or 2 years. If you feel symptoms and you see signs then trust me it's there and you'll be shifting in no time, but don't give up on yourself. It's hard to believe that human brain is capable of something like - Shifting realities. But we are and it is the most magical and most amazing gift to use, we can't let it go to waste so easily.
