A method (noun)
- There are loads of methods that people have made up in order to visualize your DR, some  of which require that you fall asleep in order for it to work, some of which don't.
- Using a method to shift helps you basically shift to your DR
- A few of these methods include the Estelle Method, Staircase Method, Train Method, Alice and Wonderland Method, Julia: I Am Method, Seren Method, Falling Method, Melt Method, Pillow Method, and Raven Method.
- These same methods can also be tailored towards those who struggle with visualization. Instead of picturing your DR in your mind, you would focus more on your five senses, trying to trick your brain into thinking that your body is experiencing things from your DR.

Shifting is different for everybody; one method might work well for one person and not work so well for someone else. You can change around the methods and form your own method that is the easiest for you to relax with.

I will be explaining the methods in the next chapter since there's quite a lot of them, I won't be explaining every single one of them because there's a lot of methods that people have made up themselves and I have no idea about those.

The one that did it for me was the Heartbeat method. Basically you lay on your back completely relaxed, you slowly count to 100 and between every number you say "I'm in my DR" while listening to an audio which plays a heartbeat. I count to 100 and between every number I say "I'm in my DR" but I don't listen to audio with a heartbeat, I literally listen to my own heartbeat -> I focus on my own heartbeat and after some time when I feel like I'm floating, my body tingles and I feel dizzy I start to visualise my heartbeat is actually my comfort characters heartbeat. By focusing on his/her/their heartbeat I also focus on my five senses (what I hear, smell, taste, feel and what I imagine seeing once I open my eyes).

This is why it's important for you to script what you want to smell, taste, feel, hear and see when you shift. I scripted hearing a faint voice of Loki saying "Darling wake up", I scripted tasting mint chewing gum, I scripted feeling Loki's chest rising and falling while I sleep on his chest, I scripted smelling freshly cut grass with a tint of a strong male perfume, I also scripted that when I wake up I'll see the view on New York City and Loki laying in bed with me.

If you have a weak heart and you feel like seeing your comfort character up close so quick is too much for you, I'd recommend using a different method or scripting a different area to wake up in. I use the heartbeat method because it is the first method that helped me completely shift to MCU -> my desired Marvel reality. It is very shocking to wake up on your comfort characters chest and seeing them brushing your hair behind your ear looking at you like you're the only thing important to them, but I swear to god it probably is worth every skipped heartbeat.

But yeah if you think that would be too much then I recommend not going with that method. No matter how many times you tell yourself "oh I'm ready to see him/her/them" "i'm not gonna get shocked" "i'm strong enough to see them the second I wake up in my DR". Trust me your current emotions are fooling you, no matter how ready you might be trust me seeing them up close out of nowhere is like jumping into a cold ocean after a hot day under the African sun.

Shifting is not dangerous at all, it is 10000000% safe and it does not contain presence of any kind of evil spirit or so on. It does not bring negativity into your life at all. It only allows you to live out the dreams with your comfort character like you always wanted to.
