Everyone realized how underprepared they would be facing off against a whole army of different people and knights as well as two Star Demons. Sol's group decided to take extra measures in order to make sure the plan they made was going to go smoothly. During the day, they would all hide in the cottage not showing their faces. It was during the night that everyone decided to take action and gather more resources to take back Luminar.
Being that discreet was still hard to do. They were only able to take resources from Silverlite Village. Traveling a farther distance to another town would only waste time and they all knew the sun would probably just come up before then anyway and they would also have to consider the trip back.
Sol was staring out the window with the half moon overhead. Jordan and William were currently sneaking around the village trying to find or steal whatever they could get their hands on. One knew how to make fireworks and the other knew how to make different explosives so it wasn't any surprise they would end up working together.
Lilac was coming down the stairs in her pajamas looking a little distressed. Sol couldn't help but notice her as the steps she took going down the stairs broke the silence. "Where did Ella go? I couldn't help but check on her with all these people staying here but she wasn't in her bed."
"Mari said they were going to go out in the meadow to train in plant magic." Sol said to her.
"Why in Elgria's name are they out there at this hour?!" Lilac quickly said as she joined Sol at the window hoping to get a little glimpse of where Ella might be. "Ella said she was feeling restless. I think it has something to do with most of us working at night and I guess she just wants to do everything she can to help out." Sol said.
Lilac couldn't help but feel a little relieved knowing who Ella was with but at the same time she was reminded that there were once mole-spiders in this area. "Come on. We're going to go find them." Lilac said to Sol. "Wait. Are you sure that's a good idea?" Sol asked not wanting to disturb their work.
"Of course it is. I just want to check in on Ella and you should probably be working at night too or did you forget that this is the only time you have to train?" Lilac said to Sol, already pushing open the front door to leave. "I suppose I can use a little bit of the sword's power to light the way. I just hope we don't grab any attention." Sol followed after Lilac, grabbing the Shining Giant that was leaning up against the wall.
The main portion of the village wasn't too far away from the cottage but it was just far enough where it would be mostly out of sight thanks to a few hills and trees. At first glance it would even seem that Lilac and Ella's home wasn't part of Silverlite but Sol knew a row of homes could still be seen at the right angle. Even from the meadow it was out of sight, especially at night.
Sol could use a little bit of his sword's power to light the way but it was equivalent to that of a candle. If he tried using any more of his sword's power he would go overboard and burn everything around him. Sol led Lilac into the meadow and at a certain point the both of them started to see two faint lights in the field.
Lilac figured that those two lights belonged to the missing lanterns she had stored away in their closet. As the two of them got closer they could slowly see who was standing in the field. Mari seemed to be talking to Ella about something and as expected, plant magic was currently being used before them.
Sol was a little scared going through the meadow at night thinking that there may be a few snakes in the tall grass. Although the thought had immediately dissipated as soon as he saw the giant flower Mari summoned grow out of the ground. It was about the size of a cow and each petal was a vibrant light pink.
