Your POV
I can't beilve this! I am moving to Republic City! My whole life is being uprooted and I am finally going on my own adventure, just like grandma did when she was a teen! Minus the toxic evil princess and world dominating war, nut still! I am starting a new chapter in my life where anything can happen! Before I know it Tenzin is landing Oogi in Republic City, my new home.
" Are you ready (Y/N)?" Tenzin's voice snapps me out of my frantic thoughts, as my head whips in his direction.
" I am as ready as I'll ever be sir." I say as I stand up and get my things. I hop off of Oogi and use the air to slow my decent and softly land on the ground.
" Very impressive (Y/N) I see you have been doing some learnig on your own." Tenzin dose a similar trick and lands beside me. Oogi lets out a loud graon informing Tenzin that he wants a treat. " Yes Oogi lets go get you something to eat." Tenzin turns to face me again, " (Y/N) just go through those doors and someone will lead you to your new room, I would take you myself but Oogi gets very grumpy when hungry." I thank him and grab my stuff and head in the doors that I have gone through so many times over my years of visits. I look around and things have changed since I was last here, for one it's not Just Tenzin and his family here anymore the place is bursting with life.
"Hello? I call once I walk a ways into the temple. Suddenly I am met with a huge gust of wind.
"(Y/N)!" I hear three fimiliar voices call, next thing I know my bags are on the floor and I am being crushed on all sides by a death hug from my 'cozins'.
"I love you guys too but I can't breath!" I explian while patting Meilo on the sholder since he is the one infront of me. As soon as they register my word they all let go and back up a little. Ikki hops infont of Meilo and starts bobbarding me with questions.
"How long are you staying? Where is Auntie Ty Lee? How long have you known your an air bender? Why didn't you come sooner? Have you met any other air benders on the island? Have you ridden the Unagi yet? Are you going to become a nomad now? Are you going become a vegan now?" I smiled down at her then,
"I'll be staying here for a long time, Grandma is back on Kioshi Island it's just me this time, I found out a year ago right after the convergence, I wanted to finish my traing with the Kioshi warriors before I came to train as an air bender, as far as I know I was the only air bender on Kioshi, I have not yet ridden the Unagi yet but I am almost ready to, being a nomad sounds like fun but I don't think the lifestyle fits me, and I can't give up meat I'm sorry." Seemingly satisfied with my answers she nodded then hopped on an air scooter and blew down one of the halls.
"I'll see you later Auntie (Y/N)!" she called over her sholder. I chuckled as she spead off to lord knows where. Jinora came up next to me and placed a hand on my sholder.
"Here I'll take you to your new room." I picked up my bags and thanked her as we began to walk down a diffrent hall. I turn around and walk bacwards facing Meilo.
"I'll see you later Meilo! maybe you can teach me some ait bending tricks!"
"Heck ya!" He shouts and jupms a few feet into the air. "I shall see you later then!" He then froms his own air scooter and zooms off in yet another direction. I turn back around and start wakling forward with Jinora
"So How have you been miss airbending master?" I say as me and Jinora walk further into the tempel. When I call her a master she gets a modest bulsh on her cheeks.
"Whell things have been pretty busy with all the new air benders, and then Kuvia triying to take over everything, but other than that everything has been pretty uneventful, how about you?"
"I have been pretty good just living life on the Island and now I am here in Republic city to stay!" We walk a little further until we come to a stop outside one of the many sliding doors.
"Here we are! Your new home sweet home! I'll let you get settled in, and I assume you know your way to the dinnig hall?" I open the door then turn to face her.
"Thank you so much Jinora, and yes I think I know my way and if not there are plenty of people to ask directions from now." I giggle a little and so dose she.
"That is true, well I shall see you later (Y/N) and if you need something don't hesitate to ask." I gave her a thankful nod as she turned to walk off back the way we came.
I turned and entured my new room and shut the door behind me. I breathed in a deep breath and set my bags down by the bed. I took a quick look arond the room and came to an imedtiate conclusion. This room needs a bit of redecorating.
