Meeting the Co-Star

Bolin's Pov
I got to the building we were filming in today and quickly made my way to costumes. Varrick had told me the other day that he finally found someone to be my new costar in the mover, I can't wait to meet them! Pabbu is quickly ushered into makeup while I am changing into my NuckTuck outfit. I'm so thankful we aren't actually filming in the South cuz I would freeze! Anyway once I change I make my way over to my makeup and hair station. While there Varrick comes up behind me.

"Bolin my boy!" I can see him outstretch his arms like he's going to hug me from behind in the reflection in the mirror. "You ate just the person I wanted to see! Yes you are!" He pats his hands down on my shoulders, "Your new costar will be here soon and I don't want you to to meet until we put you together for some line work okay!" He smiles at me though the mirror. "So I want you as soon as you finish up here to go over some fight choreography with Mr.Yaven in the back garden okay!" I give him a nod and he pushes himself off my shoulders. "Perfect! I'll come and get you once it's time to meet your new leading lady okay! Now I gotta go out front and welcome her so you best finish up quickly okay!" I nod again as Varrick leaves the room. He always seems to yell it's a little odd.

The crew finishes up the final details on my hair and makeup and I make my way out to the back garden. Mr.Yaven is waiting for me so we quickly settle in to practicing a few of the fights we had planned to film today. We do this for a while before we both take a small breather to get a drink and maybe a snack. Right when we finish our refreshments though Varrick comes bursting through the doors.

"Bolin it's time to meet your new partner follow me!" He spits from the front steps. I bow to Mr.Yaven and quickly turn around and follow after Varrick. I'm so excited to meet my new best friend! I mean of course we are going to become best friends, I mean how could we not if we are going to be filming this mover together. Of course Ginger and I didn't get along all that well... but this will be different I can feel it!

I'm walking behind Varrick with a pep in my step as he leads me down the many halls in this building. How big is this place? I mean really who needs this many halls, am I right? This place is almost like a labyrinth. I'm just glad Varrick seems to know how to navigate this place. Now that I think about it this is probably his house...

My tho it's are cut short as he stops in front of a door.

"Are you ready to meet the next big character in the 'Adventures of NuckTuck hero of the South'?" I nod excitedly to Varrick as he knocks on the door. We hear Zhu Li respond with a 'come in.' From the other side and Varrick swings the door open and walks in. I follow after him and when I walk in I link eyes with the most beautiful (E/C) eyes I have ever seen. The girl I linked with seems to freeze as we look at each other.

"Well are you two ready to make mover history!" Varrick exclaims snapping me and the girl out of our mini trance. We both look to him and I nod and she replies with a small.

"Yes." Varrick claps his hands together loudly in excitement.

"Perfect! Because I gotta feeling we are going to make mover magic with you two! Now follow me! We are going to get this ball rolling!" The girl stands up along with Zhu Li who was sitting with her on the couch. Zhu Li clears her throat.

"Varrick aren't you forgetting something?" She asks in her very Zhu Li-ish tone. Varrick stops and thinks for a second.

"No I don't think so. Why do you ask?" Zhu Li just looks at him like he doesn't know a pen from a core reactor.

"Shouldn't you introduce the pair of people you want to make 'mover magic' with to each other." She did air quotes when saying'mover magic' to emphasize her point.

"Right thank you Zhu Li! Bolin meet (Y/N), (Y/N) meet Bolin!" He took both of are hands and put them together and we shook hands.

"Pleased to meet you (Y/N)! I have a good feeling about this mover and I'm sure we will work awesomely together!" I say enthusiastically as look down at her.

"Thanks Bolin. I'm excited to work with you! It's going to be a blast!" She smiles up at me while she talks. Varrick smacks us both on the shoulder after we finish talking.

"Good too see you two get along so quickly now let's go, do the thing!" Varrick yells as he steps back and turns on his heels and out the door. We all follow him with Zhu Li walking beside him and me and   (Y/N) walking side by side.

"Soooo.. how long have you been acting?" I casually ask to start up a conversation.

"I have done a little all though out my life back home but I have never done anything quite like this before." As she talks I can see her eyes light up with excitement and for some reason it makes my smile grow bigger.

"Ya I know it's a lot to take in, and it can be a little rough getting used too, but I'm sure you'll do great! I mean Varrick picked you for a reason. I'm sure he knows what he's doing." She smiles back up at me with a kinda nervous but excited type smile.

"I hope so! I just really hope I don't mess up and completely embarrass myself." She looks down a little and rubs the back of her neck.

"Hey, don't say that! I'm sure you'll do fine, and even if you mess up a little it's okay! It's your first day and your first time doing this so I'm sure no one will Jude you if you make a few mistakes. I mean we're only human after all." She smiles up at me again this time with a more determined type of look.

"Thanks Bolin. I really needed that. And I'm going to do my best, don't worry! This is gonna be an awesome mover!" We both nod at the same time then high five. I have a feeling she's right this will be an awesome mover. Maybe even the most awesome mover yet!
