Your Pov
Tenzin gave me the day off from training so I decided to go see Republic city. This time I get to see it during the day. I get dressed in a green skirt that reaches just above my knees and a cream colored top plus my Kyoshi boots. I grabbed my glider and headed out. I landed on the edge of the city and closed my glider and took off on foot into the city. It is completely diffrent during the day and I can see the vines growing all throught the city and the spirits runing around. Cart selling all kinds of goods lined the streets and in the center of the city I could see the portal to the spirit world, I don't know how I missed it the past few weeks. I start walking in that direction while still admiring everything else in the city.
After a bit of aimlessly walking I hear some amazing street music and I rush over to see where it's coming from. There are these kids in the park playing on these super cool homemade instruments and the beat is so beautiful that I can't help but go over and start dancing to the music. Its like I can feel the beat in my soul and I let myself get lost in the song. The kids seam to notice and play there music louder. It's an amazing moment in time for me.
Varrick's Pov
We need someone to replace Ginger as NuckTuck's new love interest in the upcoming mover! And so far we can't find anyone who has the right pizzazz I'm looking for! I tried to contact Korra or Ausami but there still on there romantic vacation in the spirit world. Uhg! We need someone new someone fresh! I'm currently walking the streets of the city keeping my eye out for any potential talent in the street then I see a large crowd forming in the park up ahead and that direction to see what's up. When I shove my way though the crowd I see this girl dancing in the center and she is moving with such an unparalleled grace! She is literally floating on air at times! She's perfect! I think I've just found my newest mover star! I watch her and wait for the music to end so I can approach her.
Finally it end and I go up to her as people drop money in the little musicians tip jar type thingy.
"Hello young lady!" I shout as I get right up to her and spread my arms out excitedly, "Let me just say that was some super swell dancing you just did there! Truly remarkable dancing!" She smiles while she tries to catch her breath from the dance.
"Thank you! I just couldn't help it those kids are exceptional musicians and when I heard there music it kids just took over me." She has a modest blush on her face, but that could also just be form the exercise it took to dance like that.
"Yes they are but you truly made it come alive! Now tell me have you ever thought of doing anything like that in front of the camera?" I lean in a little as I talk and raise an eyebrow at the end. She kinda freezes for a moment so I just keep going. "Cuz let me just say you have a gift! And your in luck because I'm just the person to help you show your gift to the world!" I pull out my business card in between two fingers and extend it to her. She slowly takes it and looks at it. I give her my big show stopping grin. "So how about it little lady would you like to be a mover star?"
Time skip a few days later
Your Pov
I can't believe I am going to be in a mover! I talked with Tenzin the second I got back to the temple and he said that it was alright for me to do it. I believe his exact words where, ' This will be a good learning experience for you (Y/N). It will give you a better chance to experience more of the modern world than you have been able to back on the Island.' So now I am off to the location Varrick told me to meet him.
As I make my way there on my glider I can't help but think about what's going to happen.I mean I don't even know what I'm going to be doing when I get there but I'm so excited! Everyone back at the temple has been so supportive of me and my main group has been slightly teasing me about not forgetting them when I make it big. Grandma is also super happy for me and made me promise to tell her when it comes out as soon as I know so that she can come down and see it. My smile grows as I think about all the people in my life cheering for me as I go through this huge life opportunity.
