Tobins pov
I'm waiting at the gate that Christen and Kelly's plane will land. I cant wait to see my girlfriend I've missed her so much. Her plan sho me landing in like two minutes. I was scrolling through Instagram when I felt a someone standing in front of me. I look up to see Chris smiling down at me. I got up from where I was and spun her around. "Dang you've never been that excited to see me I see how it is Tobin" Kelly said behind us. I let go of Chris and pulled Kelly into hug which I think threw her off guard because she didn't hug back at first. "Wow that's a first."
"Are you guys ready to go" I said locking hands with Christen. We all made our way out to where the van was waiting for us. Ashlyn, Ali, Sonnet, and we're waiting for us. Me and Chris got in the very back with Ali. "Hey Ali how's it going" I asked.
"Pretty good, hi I'm Ali" she said reaching her hand out to Chris.
"Hi, I'm Christen" she said taking Ali's hand.
"Oh Kelly talks about you all the time"
"I do not" Kelly yells from the front.
"Yes she does" Ali whispered
"I heard that" we all laughed.
"Well I'm honored that she talks about me I mean we've been roommates since college."
"Well this is ash and next to her is Emily but everyone calls her sonnet."
"I think me and Emily have met once"
"Yes I believe you were the girl waiting out side the locker room for Tobin here"
"So how long have you know Tobin"
"Well it's a long story we met in college but it was just one night of hang out then we never saw each other again plus neither of us new each other's names. Then Kelly asked me if I wanted to go out with her and her friends one night and we some how remembered each other and have been close ever since."
"Nice I've know Tobin here since college we played on the same team"
"Oh nice we probably met once then"
"Maybe but I was probably drunk" we arrive at the hotel where the whole team was waiting in the lobby.
"I really hope we get roomed together" I whispered into christens ear before pulling her over to meet more of the team. "Everyone this is Christen she so now one of us so welcome her and don't weird" I announced. Everyone soon came and introduced themselves to her one by one.
"Hi I'm crystal Dunn I can already tell we're gonna be bestfriends"
"It's nice to meet you crystal"
"Hey pressy" I heard allie yell.
"Hey Allie is nice to see you again"
"Yeah I've low key missed you"
"Awe I've missed you too allie" Chris said before pulling allie into a hug. Then Jill can around and got everyone's attention.
"Okay I have your room assignments settle in and then meet in the meal room at 5" that gave us an hour and a half because it was only 5:30. Jill went around and passed out the room keys. "Hello Christen I'm very excited to have you here with us I can't wait to see you out on the field."
"I can't wait either and im excited to be here"
"Well here are your guys keys your rooming together I'll see you at dinner" we grabbed the keys from Jill and made our way to the elevator. I see Alex and Allie waiting there too.
"Hey guys are you roomed together"
"Yep how about you too"
"Yep" Allie smirked.
"Looks like you got lucky Harry" Alex looked over at us.
"Hi, I'm Alex" she held out her hand.
"Hi, I'm Christen" Chris shook her hand. We rode the elevator up to our floor in an awkward silence. Things have been awkward between me and Alex since she tried to kiss me the last time we saw each other.
Me and Chris find our rooms and she jumps on the first bed she sees. "Tired" I asked.
"Very now come here and hold me I've missed you" I do as I'm told and we wrap our arms around each other.
"I've missed you too love"
"Alex didn't seem very friendly" I was hoping she wouldn't have been brought up.
"give her time she doesn't her problem isn't with you it's with me the last time we say each other we had a fight."
"Oh I'm sorry baby" I started to think.
"Do you think we should tell the team we're together"
"I don't know I mean the only people that know are Allie, Kelly, and our parents."
"That is true but they'll probably just figure it out on there own" I kissed her forehead a bunch of times which made her smile.
"I'm so glad I'm here Toby"
"I'm glad your here too Chris" I loved moments like there's where we just lay in each other's arms. We stayed like that until it was time to go to the meal room.
"Okay so we kinda just sit where ever in the meal room but you have to be careful when we get on the bus tomorrow okay because they are very superstitious about their seats" I warned her.
"Good to know" she said.
"We can sit by Kelly and Allie if you want just because you know them ash, Ali, and pinoe will probably be there to"
"That's sounds good plus Kelly already texted me earlier saying she was saving us spots" we grabbed our food and sat down at the table where everyone was sitting. "Hey kel"
"Hey Chris" Kelly said in a sleepy voice.
"Kel you sound like you just woke up" I said laughing a bit.
"Because I did this one over here dragged me out of bed" she pointed at pinoe.
"Well would you rather I left you there and you be late to dinner"
"No"
"Exactly so quit complaining" we all laughed at them. "Oh I'm Megan by the way but everyone calls me pinoe"
"I'm Christen it's nice to meet you" she did a little wave at pinoe.
"So what did you guys do before dinner. I unpacked all my stuff" Allie said.
"Uh I started unpacking and this one as you know took a nap" pinoe said"
"We also took a nap" ash said pointing to her and ali.
"We just talked about Life stuff" I said. Allie and Kelly both gave me a look.
"I'm sure you did more then just talk about life stuff" Kelly said winking at us. Chris blushed a little and everyone else just looked confused.
"Are you a thing" ash asked and Ali elbowed her. "Ouch it was just a question"
"Well I told you they'd figure it out but you know Kelly had to hint it"
"Wait we're you guy not planning on telling anyone sorry" Kelly said with an apologetic look.
"It's okay Kelly we were kinda just gonna let them figure it out on there own"
"Well we won't tell" Ali said.
Back in the room.
Christen pov
It was a nice dinner besides Alex was glaring at me the whole time. Whatever happened between her and Tobin really must have not been good. "Hey babe do you know where the remote went" Tobin yelled from the bed I was in the bathroom doing my night routine.
"Uh did you check under the pillows"
"Found it thanks babe" I heard the bed Russell in the other room and then felt arms wrap around my waist. "What you doing" Tobin asked putting her head on my shoulder.
"I was just washing my face and now I'm going to cuddle with my beautiful girlfriend"
"Ooo yay" she said before dragging be to bed.
