Tobins pov
After our moment in the bathroom we went back to the table hand in hand. Chris was very happy. We all ate our food while talking and laughing. When the waitress came with the check I got an idea. I turn to everyone. "I'm sorry for this" then as the waitress was coming back I pulled Christen in with my hands on her cheeks and kissed her. Passionately kissed her. When it broke I looked at the waitress let's just say she wasn't happy. She gave Chris dad his card back and left. "Once again sorry"
"No need to apologize Tobin you did what needed to be done." Chris dad said. Christen just smiled at me.
"Alright is everyone ready"
"Yeah but I think me and Tobin are gonna go back to the house we will come visit mom tomorrow"
"Alright honey" he said hugging her. "You guys drive safe"
"We will you guys too. I love you dad"
"I love you too honey" me and Chris parted ways with them and headed back to the house. I'm guessing she was tired because she wanted to go straight to bed. We lay there in each other's arms. It's moments like these that I love most. I feel so close to her. I Barry my face into her neck. She grabs my hand and interlocks our fingers.
"I love you Tobin"
"I love you too Christen" and with that we both fell asleep.
I wake up before Christen which doesn't happen often. She has her arms wrapped around me along with her legs. I felt so safe in here arms. I didn't think it was possible but she moved even closer to me. She was now laying on top of me with her head on my chest. I lean down and kiss it a couple time till I see a smile form across her face. "Good morning baby"
"Good morning Toby" she still had her eyes closed and she said it very sleepily. I just rubbed her back while we enjoyed this moment of peace. She finally looked up at me with a big smile on her face. She leaned in and kissed me a couple of times before getting out of bed. I instantly missed her in my arms.
"Where are you going" I was pouting a little bit.
"To take a shower" she just smirked at me. "You can join if you want"
"Say less" I ran after Christen into the bathroom I caught her by the waist and pulled her into me. She just smiled that beautiful smile at me and started to untie my pants.
After our shower we got ready to go see her mom little did me know that there was a very surprising but sad day ahead of us. We got to her moms room and she was awake. "Christen" she said. Chris hadn't even noticed she was awake she turned around to face her mother in shock. She walked over to her and gave her a big hug. "Who's this" her mom asked pointing at me.
"Mom this is my girlfriend Tobin I told you about her"
"Omg yeah now I remember she is very pretty chris" Christen blushes and I just smile.
"It's nice to meet you mrs. Press"
"Call me Stacy but it's nice to finally meet you too Tobin" I walked over to where they were.
I was coming back from grabbing some food. I wanted Chris to have some time with her mom. When I came back a ton of doctors were running into the room and Chris was crying. "Christen"
She hurried to me wrapping her arm around my waist.
"The line went straight and they called a code blue Tobin I don't think she's gonna make it"
"I'm so sorry Chris" I pulled her in tighter. Soon a doctor came out she looked very disappointed. She saw us and made her way over her. Christen turned to face her.
"We did everything we could I'm so sorry for your loss miss. Press" Christen broke in that moment she was crying harder now In my arms. I see Tyler Channing and Christen dad walking towards us. Me and Tyler made eye contact I just shook my head. She grabbed her dads shoulder and I'm guessing told him. He started walking fast to us practically running.
"What happened" he asked the doctor now turning to him.
"She coded her heart stopped we tried to bring her back but her heart was too weak I'm so sorry mr. press"
"Can I see her"
"Of course but only for a little bit it's a hospital policy." So we all made our way into Stacys room she looked at peace. But all I can think about Christen I hate seeming her sad like this.
"I can wait out side while you guys say your goodbyes" I say they all look at me. Christen squeezed my head.
"Please stay with me" she pulled me into a side hug and rested her head on my shoulder.
"She was amazing women and amazing mother. She loved all of you with all of her heart. Christen she was so proud of you for chasing after your dreams and achieving them....." He went on with his say something about each daughter. "We all love you Stacy you were the love of my life always will be, but your in a better place now." He kissed his hand and placed it on her and so did everyone else. After that the doctor came in.
"I'm sorry but time is up" we all gather everything we had and left.
"Chris give me the keys" she handed me the keys. We made our way to the car. I opened the door for her. I drive but not toward her house.
"Where are we going Tobin?"
"It's a surprise"
"I'm not really in the mood for surprises Tobin I just want to go home"
"Your gonna like it trust me" I pull up to where I was taking her. It's one of those places where you can go an destroy and break things. "We're here" I walk over and open up her door. She slowly gets out of the car. I grab her hand and lead her inside.
"Hi what can I do for you guys today"
"Yes I like an hour in one of your rooms"
"It's gonna $37" I handed him the money and he lead us back to one of the rooms. "Okay your weapons are in the room you can use which ever one you want the rooms are sound prof so if you need to scream you can. Enjoy" he left us in the room.
"Tobin why did you bring me her"
"To help you sometimes we need to scream cry and hit things so do it. I'll only join if you want me too." I said stepping back. She grabs the bat that was hanging on the wall and started to hit the car the was in the middle of the room. As she hit it she screamed. It was kinda scary to watch her do this. I'll remember not to every do her wrong not that I plan on it. I honestly want to spend the rest of my life with this girl. Soon she clasps so I run over to her. "Baby are you okay"
"Yeah just need a second to breathe" she looks up at me and puts one hand on my cheek. "Thank you for this Tobin"
"Just trying to take care of my girl"
"Tomorrow can we go to a field and play some soccer"
"Yeah no problem we can do anything you want. Our hour is up what do you say we go get your favorite ice cream and go home and watch some sappy movie"
"I think that's a wonderful idea" I grabbed her hand and lead her out the door.
"Have a good rest of your day" the guy said as we left. I drove Christen to the market. We got a lot more then I've cream while in there. Don't worry there not super unhealthy we still have training and a season to play.
We were now laying on christens bed cuddled up watch the notebook. We hear a knock at the door. "Come in" it was Tyler and Channing.
"Could we chill in here with you guys" Christen looks at me.
"The more the merrier" they both found a spot on the bed. When the notebook was over chris decided that we need to watch some funny so she picked identity theft. We laughed the whole time. On the third movie we all fell asleep Chris cuddled into me.
