One month later
Christens pov
I wake up in my own bed all alone. Tobin was here just yesterday but had to leave for a game. I miss her a lot. Kelly comes in my room jumping on me. "Kelly what are you doing"
"We are going out tomorrow night okay"
"I don't really want to go out"
"Well you have no choice sonnet is coming over and we are going out so relax tonight and get ready to party tomorrow." She got up to leave.
"Kel"
"Yeah Chris"
"Will you watch a movie with me"
"Yeah if I get to pick" she jumped back on my bed and picked up the remote.
The next day I woke up next to Kelly. I got up, put on some workout clothes and headed to the gym. After the gym I went to my usual park and meditating. As soon as I fished I got a call. It was Tobin. "Hey babe"
"Hey baby how's your morning going"
"I went to the gym and I just finished meditating how about you how's your morning going"
"It has been okay I haven't done much I honestly just woke up Allie made me go out with her last night which wasn't very fun"
"Awe why's that" she was silent for a minute.
"Because you weren't there"
"Awe Toby"
"I just miss you Chris"
"I miss you too Tobin"
"What are you doing tonight?"
"Uh Kelly is making me go out with her and sonnet. I don't really want to go I know I'm not going to have fun"
"I bet those two together you'll probably feel like a baby sitter."
"Oh definitely I really wish you were here so I don't have to go alone"
"I wish I could too chris"
"Anyways I probably should go back home because Kelly starts spamming me wondering where I am"
"Well we don't want that I'll talk to you later chris I love you"
"I love you too Tobin" she hung up and I headed back home.
Later that night I'm getting ready when sonnet and Kelly came barging in my door with Allie. "Hey Allie I didn't know you were coming"
"Well when sonnet said she was coming here to go out with Kelly and sonnet i knew you would need a buffer"
"Well it's always good to see you now are we all ready" they all nodded there heads yes. We all headed to the car that was waiting for us.
We got to the club they all headed to the dance floor while I headed to the bar. "What can I get you"
"I'll have wine" the bartender left and got me a glass. I sat there for a moment before I felt someone tap on my shoulder. "Im sorry but you wasting your time I have girlfriend"
"Well then I guess your girlfriend is a very lucky girl" as soon as I heard the voice I knew.
"Tobin" when turned I as my girlfriends beautiful smile. I jumped into her arms. "What are you doing here"
"I caught a flight with sonnet and Allie. I told you I missed you honestly I don't think I could stay another night away from you." I kissed her very passionately. It only broke when we heard our friends cheering. Kelly came up to Tobin and patted her on her shoulder.
"This one was a mess with out you here"
"Was not"
"Not true she made me watch sappy movies with her the whole time you were gone"
"That doesn't matter she's here now"
"Yes I am" she said smiling at me wide.
"I missed you so much Tobin"
"I missed you a lot too chris" she gave me a quick kiss. "Oh guess what"
"What another surprise"
"We don't have to go back for practice for three days because we won"
"Yay that means you can come to our game tomorrow" I said jumping into her arms.
"Yes and then I'm taking out for dinner after"
"Wow just keeps getting better"
"Now who wants a shot" sonnet, Kelly, and Allie all raised there hands at the same time.
Tobins pov
I walk over to the bar getting everyone shots. I feel a tap on my shoulder and turn to see the one person I did not expect to see here. "Shirley"
"Hey Toby fancy seeing you here I thought you were in Portland"
"I'm here to see some people."
"So how you been I bet you've been pretty lonely with out me" she said running her hand down my chest and stomach. I pushed her hand before it got any further.
"Actually Shirley I'm very happy I have a beautiful girlfriend who treats very well unlike you did"
"Wow Toby really you told me you loved me and you were having tons of fun when we were together"
"Shirley all our relationship was sex it wasn't even a relationship"
"And you have to admit it was good sex"
"I'm with Christen now and I love her our relationship is real in like ours was goodbye Shirley"
As I went to walk away with out the shots Shirley grabbed my hand and pulled me into her. Then she kissed me. I immediately shoved her off of me. "I love my girlfriend and even you trying to hash up what we had by kissing me won't change that. That girl changed me life and she is the only one I want." I walked away to find Christen but when I got to where everyone was she was gone. "Where's Chris"
"She left when she saw you kissing Shirley. Come on Tobin why would you do that to her that girl loves you"
"She kissed me I pushed her off right away I did not want to kiss her. After I shoved her off I told her how much I love Christen. I mean I've never loved anyone the way I love Christen"
"Tobs you shouldn't be telling us you should be telling her. I know how much you love her and I know you would never do anything to hurt her but that one little kiss right there broke her heart you need to go fight for her. Before it's too late Tobin go get your girl" Allies pep talk I ran out side and grabbed a cab it Chris apartment. When I get there I knock on the door. I can hear her on the other side. The chain was on the door she opened it slightly.
"Tobin please leave I don't want to hear it I was space actually I don't think I can do this. Um why don't you go back to Portland. Goodbye Tobin it was nice while it lasted" my heart shattered at her words.
"No Christen please don't shut me out don't go Chris I love you" she was no longer there. I left and went to Allie's hotel.
I knocked on her door and she opened it. All I could see was sadness in her eyes. "What happened Tobin" she said pulling me inside.
"She done she told me she's done she doesn't want me anymore Allie what am I gonna do. She doesn't want anything to do with me. What am gonna do now." I finally broke down in allies arms. I cried all night.
Christen pov
I'm in my bed just laying here in my bed staring at the ceiling fan. I can feel the tears running down my face. I feel so numb right now. I hear my door open but I didn't move. I felt someone lay next to me. "Chris you need to drink something" Kelly said handing me a way bottle. I sat up and drank the water. When I was done Kelly pulled me into her chest. "Do you wanna talk about it"
"I ended it" she looked at me.
"What"
"I don't want to talk about it Kelly I ended things with us it over with now let not talk about it I just want to move on. I got out of bed and threw a sweatshirt and sweatpants on.
"Where are you going"
"For a run"
"Chris it's the middle of the night"
"I need to clear my head" I left. I was running for about an hour before I made it to a random field. All I wanted to do was scream cry and hit things but it just reminded me of Tobin. Everything reminds me of Tobin. I hate this. I really want to hate her but I can't.
