Ranboo stood outside the palace walls the property surrounding the castle was filled with mini camp sites, tents littered the ground almost as far as Ranboo's eyes could see, the soldiers say at their tents polishing weapons, and restringing their bows, Ranboo knew he didn't need to do much with Philza's army, they were always training, that was one of the perks of having a preset military at all times rather than using the volunteer system.

Ranboo walked over to the courtyard and Techno was yelling at some recruits to take another lap.

Techno turned and made eye contact with Ranboo.

"Greetings, Prince Ranboo."

Ranboo dipped his head "Hello, Techno, are you ready to rotate shifts?"

Techno nodded "By the way, I didn't say anything, but there were two recruits that I noticed seemed a bit young to be here. I assume you're aware of this?"

Ranboo nodded "Yes, I gave them permission to join."

Techno narrowed his eyes "I hope you are prepared for the trouble their family will give you."

Ranboo hummed in agreement and added "I would be, if they had one, sir."

Techno looked over and his gaze landed on the two brothers of which they were talking about.

"I see... " He murmured "Well, if you are sure, your Highness, than I will leave you now."

Ranboo nodded "I think that would be best."

Techno bowed his head once more and walked away, to where, Ranboo hadn't the faintest clue.

Ranboo scanned the clearing for anyone who looked like they needed help, he noticed one recruit was was struggling to figure out how to hold a sword.

Ranboo walked up to her and gave her a few tips.

The recruit thanked him and continued practicing.

Ranboo felt someone tap his shoulder and he turned around, shifting his eyes downward slightly he met the eyes of a shaggy brown haired guy who was dressed in baggy white cotton clothes.

Ranboo tilted his head "Yes?"

The newcomer made a few weird motions with his hand and Ranboo blinked as he realized it was sign language "Oh-uh..." Ranboo shrugged and tried to figure out how to this person he had no idea what he was saying.

The newcomer rolled his eyes and motioned for Ranboo to follow.

Ranboo soon found himself outside of a white tent and a girl who was about an inch shorter than the other waved a greeting "Hello, I'm Alyssa, this is Callahan."

Ranboo furrowed his brows in confusion "Pleasure to meet you, do you need anything?"

Callahan tapped on Alyssa's shoulder and signed something, she nodded "Yeah, I'll tell him." She said looking back at Ranboo.

"So, I know we are just medics, but I figured it would be useful if we also knew a bit more about fighting."

Ranboo nodded, that made sense. As doctors they would be targeted more by the enemy side.

"Okay, what do you want to learn? I'm sure I could help."

Alyssa hummed "Callahan and I thought daggers would be a good weapon choice."

Ranboo's smile faltered "Are you sure? Daggers are a close combat weapon, that means you'd actually have to see the person who you're fighting."

Alyssa frowned "Well, yeah, but we wouldn't try and kill them. Just keep them from hurting us."
