Ranboo walked in his room and he watched as Tommy lay peacefully asleep in his bed. The younger's chest rose and fell as he took long deep breaths.

He looked so at ease that Ranboo couldn't bring himself to wake him like he had asked.

Ranboo grabbed some sleepwear and got changed in his bathroom. Ranboo then walked out of the room.

He heard the faint sound of footsteps from down the hall.

Ranboo paused "Mom? You home?"

He saw her head poke around the corner "Hey there, Boo, I can't stay long, this trial is taking longer than expected." She walked over to Ranboo and ran a hand through his hair gently "How are you?" He leaned into her touch "I'm... I just......" He sighed " I w miss you."

She pulled him into a hug "Don't worry, it will all be over soon. After we get to the bottom of this trial there'll be no more war and maybe finally life can go back to normal." He nodded mutely "Mom... One of my friends... They're...." He shook his head "I don't want to lose him."

He looked up into her soft green eyes and she sighed "I'm so sorry, dear, I must sound like a horrible mother... But, I really have to be present at this trial..." She frowned, "How about you get some rest, I'm sure your friend will be okay. And... I'll be here later tonight, if you're still up I can talk then."

A frown tugged at the corner of his lip "Yeah... Yeah, I know.. I love you." His mom gazed sadly at him "I love you too."

She walked away from him and he heard the rustle of papers as she grabbed something, then, the door front door opened, and closed. She was gone. He was alone again.

He walked over to the couch and laid down, he was so exhausted both mentally and physically, sleep came almost the moment his head hit the cushion.

Tommy woke up and yawned he rubbed his eyes and sat up, he then blinked them open in shock, where was he?

He stood up in a flash "What the f*ck!?" He exclaimed looking around wildly.

Suddenly, last night's memories came flooding back at him with the force of a tsunami.

He shook and looked out the window, it was just after dawn from the looks of it.

He swayed on his feet and took a seat to settle his nerves "Ah f*ck you Ranboo." He grumbled "F*ck you."

He sighed and held his face in his hands before looking up "Ah- f*ck, Tubbo!"

He stood up again and practically ran out of the room, he ran down the hallway and met a dead send "Sh*t! Wrong way."

He turned around and ran down to the other side of the hallways. He found himself in a living room, the blond haired boy looked over at the couch where his stupid friend was still passed out.

He rolled his eyes and shook Ranboo awake "Hey, b*tchface wake up."

Ranboo opened his eyes blearily "Hm?"

Tommy rolled his eyes "Where's the front door?"

Ranboo groaned and let his head fall back down on the couch "Go away." He moaned.

Tommy stayed where he was, staring at Ranboo. Ranboo opened one eye "Gahhhh.... The door is somewhere over... Over there."

Tommy huffed and walked in the direction Ranboo had lazily motioned at.

He eventually found the door and began his obnoxiously long walk to Tubbo's tent. Every second he wasn't there he felt like something horrible was about to happen. He just needed to be there with Tubbo.
