10. Home alone

After breakfast I layed on the couch on my stomach with leo on me watching cartoons. I  am just in love with cartoons. I mean who doesn't?

Half way through Moana Marco came, I sat up and leo layed on the couch with his head on my lap.

"We all have to go out, are you okay staying alone?" He asked.

"Yes. It's fine"

"We will be back in 3 hours or so." He got up and left. Soon all of them left.

After waiting for 10 minutes, I closed all the curtains in the living room and made the place dark.

I played 'the bride' on tv and settled on the couch snuggling with blankets and snacks for both of us. I love horror movie, especially watching it in the dark is just so thrilling. I know it's not for my age and that's the reason I watch them when no one is around.

Halfway through the movie my phone rang, I peaked to see it's mom. I picked the call and went out to talk leaving leo alone on the couch.

"Hey mom" I sat on the bench in the garden near the fountain, the same place I sat with Lucian. We spoke for a while and then she passed it to dad.

After the call I went to the living to see a girl standing behind the couch watching the movie and more importantly leo sneaking up behind her.

I may or may not have taught him to scare people.

Before I could stop him, he made some weird noise and touched her hand. She screamed so bad that I covered my ears. Not even a second later her phone rang at same time all the maid and the guards rushed in. I wanted to laugh so bad but I controlled myself.

Soon a snicker is heard from a maid, it seems like she tried to control but wasn't able to and soon she was clutching her stomach laughing but you can't blame her, the new girl layed on the ground with a hand on her heart and the terrified look never leaving her face and more importantly the movie still playing.

Everyone must have thought it was because of the movie.

"Leo come here" leo immediately jumped to me. I went near her offering my hand to help her up but she pushed it away glaring and stood up with couch's support. She looks creepy with her dress barely covering anything and caked face.

"I am sorry ma'am. he was playing around and didn't mean to scare you." what leo did was wrong, he can scare any family members for all I could care but never strangers. She swang her leg to kick leo but I blocked it.

"Don't you dare" I said glaring at her.

"how dare you? Do you know who I am?" she asked. Her voice being the most irritating thing I have heard.

"Honestly no and I don't give two shits about it but if you ever again try to hurt him you will regret it" I said in the calm-est way possible.

"I am Adriano's girlfriend I can kill you with a flip of my finger"

"I am Alyssa and I am not used to using others name for my matters"

"You" She raised her hand to hit me but the guard caught her hand in air.

"You don't have any rights to touch her miss" he said holding her tightly making me smirk.

"What's happening here?" A voice boomed. There stood Adriano with his hands in pocket and a poker face. Hearing him all the maids and guards rushed to their respective works. He stood between both of us but still a bit far. Now, all of us stood in a triangle way.

"What happened?" He asked now a bit casually.

"You have to fire that maid of a bitch first" the new girl said glaring at me while I was standing there in a calm and collected posture.
