25. Video

I stared at the glass of the window as the rain hit the window getting it all wet. The car soon came to stop and I got down.

I didn't want to go to school but they made me. Yesterday after Garrett defended me another huge argument went on and they sent me to my room. I could hear yelling from downstairs but was too scared to check it out so instead I cuddled leo.

The door of my room opened with a bang making me flinch. Leo jumped in front of me and growled at the person at the door, standing on the bed.

"This is all your fault" marco growled at me as I came in his eye sight. "All I want to do is squeeze the life out of you for doing this. And trust me your death is in my hands"

With that he left slamming the door behind him.

What just happened?

I let out a shaky breath and laid on the bed as the tears continued flowing down my cheeks. Leo whined licking my cheeks wiping of the tears and rest his head on the crook of my neck. Showing he was sad. I pet his head and stayed like that the whole night. Sleep didn't find me.

The next morning I had high fever as usual, but didn't show it out. Every one probably thought I was sad as I skipped breakfast but I was just unable to eat or even walk properly. My limbs felt so weak, my eyes held some kind of burning sensation, I couldn't speak properly.

Yet, They forced me to go to school.......but I don't blame them, they just didn't know.

As I reached school I was greeted by Maya rushing to hug me. I slightly hugged her back and moved away not wanting her to catch my fever.

"What happened?" Maya asked as we reached our class and sat on our respective seats, which is next to each other in the middle row.

"What do you mean?" I asked removing my back pack and placing it on the hook in the table.

"You cried. Your fever is the proof. What happened" she asked with worried eyes.

"I skipped school yesterday and got grounded and got yelled at" I said the half truth knowing she won't leave until she gets the answers.

"And?"

"What do you mean 'and' I just told you"

"Oh come on lia. I know you won't cry for something that small. I know you for years. Tell me what happened" just as I made up my mind to tell her everything the teacher came in.

We sat back on our seats and the lectures began.

"I will tell you later" I whispered to her as she kept looking at me with concerne swirling in her eyes. After hearing my reply she nodded satisfied and focused on the teacher.

As soon as the bell rang Maya immediately dragged me out, before the teacher dismissed us. She took me to our next class which is math. The students were coming out as we were already there. We waited outside patiently as everyone left and we made our way inside to the last bench.

"Tell me" she whispered. Just like that I told her everything. By the time I completed her eyes went wide. She immediately pulled me into a hug. She pulled away and took me hand saying "come on let's go"

"Where?"

"To your house"

"We will go after school if you want. I definitely dont want to face anyone's warth for skipping school again"

"No we are going now. Let's tell leo to kick Alessandro ass. I myself would do it but he is too tall I won't be able to reach his face but" she paused. "He is gonna hear an earnfull from me and I am gonna set a lot of traps"
