14. Fire

I lifted my fearful face to his, his eyes narrowed at me with anger flaring through them.

Busted!!! Pray for me. 

"I can explain" I shuttered not liking this side of him.

"I am listening" he crossed his arms leaning more into the couch. I tried to come up with something but returned empty handed.

"I..I"

"You what" he slightly raised his voice and that was enough for me to get scared. I guess I have phonophobia.

"I j.ust wanted to go to the movie and was scared you won't allow so I lied sorry"

"Who gave you this idea?"

"No one" I whispered.

"Louder"

"No one" this time I made sure he heard.

"You went only to the movies?"

"Park" I mumbled but somewhere in my mind I had a feeling he already knew it. I have to do something before it's gets out of hand. I took a deep breath and started on my apology speech (just so you know I am not great at it)

"I am sorry. I know what I did was wrong. I didn't mean to lie nor disobey or disrespect, it was just that I wanted to spend some time outside. I know you don't want me out alone and you no wait not only you but everyone thinks the outside world is cruel when it's not. But for you I promise not to lie. Let it slide this time, just once and I will not lie to you again"

"What if you don't keep your promise" okay progress. He is coming my way.

"You can do whatever you want" I gave him my famously-infamous puppy eyes.

He stared a me for a few minutes and then signed.

"I will let it slide this time and I don't want a repeat of it, if you do consequences will be severe" I nodded mumbling a 'sorry' maintaining a sad innocent face on the outside While doing my victory dance in the inside. "Go do your homework"

I went out of the living room but I turned around and went back in unable to control my tongue...

"Ales, can I tell you something?"

"Yes" he said setting his laptop on his lap getting comfortable.

"Your scary" with that I ran away. I ran till I was able to look at him but he won't be able to see me. I thought he will be angry or with a poker face or something but he had an amused face. I ran up to my room and jumped on my bed pulling the cover on me not bothering to do what Alessandro said. Soon enough leo came and crawled next to me laying his head on my hand and his hand on my stomach, cuddling me or hugging me.

It's been an hour I have been in the bed went a thought interrupted my web series. Chocolates! I need chocolates. For them I have to complete the twins pending work. I glanced at the books on my table and I don't think I will be able to complete it if I don't start now. Signing I sat at the desk opening the books starting on it occasionally muttering 'for chocolates' to motivate myself. Just as I completed the first page I heard a knock on the door. I lifted my face to see who it was confused because let's be honest here, my brothers never knock they just come in go out as they wish... not that I minded though. They are my family so it's fine.

"Yes?" I asked the maid.

"Dinner's ready ma'am" she said softy playing with the hem of her dress.

"I will be there" I closed all the books and ran downstairs taking leo with me. I fed leo first and then went to the dinning table.

"What took you so longggggggg" Lucian dragged it dramatically.
