4. Vincent

Rhythm POV

I felt like my body was moving as if I was in a car. Slowly opening my eyes I came face to face with a seat. A car seat. I immediately straighten up and glanced down to see leo sleeping peacefully beside me. I turned towards to window watching the trees pass by. I saw the sun rising and immediately calculated in my mind a day has gone, from the day I got kidnapped.

I glanced at the driver aka my kidnapper. My kidnapper has not noticed me being awake yet. I tried open the door to find it locked. Shit! I cursed under my breath and glanced at my kidnapper again only to find him staring at me. I gulped and leaned back more into my seat diverting my gaze to leo.

"Hey" he said. I looked at him to see his eyes has soften a lot.

I stayed quite not knowing how to react.

"Don't be scared little one I am not gonna hurt you. Infact I saved you" what?!

"So it wasn't you who kidnap me?" I whispered.

"You were kidnapped?" He said. He face held pure shock.

I hummed not trusting my voice. Then realisation hit me. I am in a car with a stranger.

"Where are you taking me?"

"To my home" he said taking a right.

"Wh-" his phone started ringing. He immediately picked it up. I think I saw him leaving a sign of relief.

I know eavesdropping is wrong but I can't do anything when he is talking right in front of me. So I kinda off tried to listen. Curse my luck he is talking in different language. After around 5 minutes the call came to an end.

"Excuse me sir, can you please stop the car?" I asked

"But why little one" his brows furrowed.

"So I can go home"

"We are in the middle of the forest you can't go anywhere without a vehicle. I will take you to my house I have a little work to do which is so important and then will you drop you off at your place okay?"

Oh my god.......can my day get any better. I can say no but ......that's not right since he literally saved my life .....and what if he loses his job because of the important work he has to do, that guilt will eat alive everyday. Though he look like he is so rich and all. Like doesn't give a shit type guy......I can't risk right.......but going to a stranger's place is also risk so let's hope leo wakes up soon.

"Okay" he smiled. "Thank you so much sir. You literally saved my life. I am so grateful to you"

"It's fine little one no need to thank me" I smiled.

"How about you sit in the front we can play 21 questions till we reach home" he turned around to look at me with a smile. Why does his face and smile look so familiar.

"Offcourse sir" I jumped into the front seat and sat here.

"Name"

"Rhythm, yours?"

"Vincent, tell me something about yourself and your family"

"Okay, I am rhythm. I am 12. My dad is a business man and mom is a doctor. I have 3 brothers. Mason, Blake and Chris. Mason also does business, Blake is in clg and Chris is in highschool. Last but not the least my sweet little brother leo. The one sleeping in the back seat is leo......now about yourself and your family" he laughs.

"I am 25. Mom and dad both are in business. I have 5 brothers and 1 sister. One older brother and 4 younger brother and 1 younger sister."

"That's sweet. What your favourite colour?"
