There were many things in the forest that gave him pause. Rustling in the brush, pairs of eyes, low to the ground appearing and disappearing in the fog, far away sounds of .. animals, he hoped, that left him feeling uneasy.

An ominous feeling crept through him and he didn't dare ask anymore questions. Even his not Mobius apparition walked silently beside him. He felt like reaching out to hold his hand, but knew it would just disappoint him when Not Mobius evaporated at his touch.

After a long while, the pull in his chest lessened and he stopped. Loki was now so deep in the forest that the trees had created midnight out of what was once a bright night sky lit by the moon and he realized that he could not see it any longer. "Dearest moon? Right, sorry, too much." He cleared his throat. "Hello...?" Silence. "Damn."

The air was thick with fog and all of the sounds around him were muffled but entirely too close. He now realized he was seriously testing out this mortal thing.

"Well, thank you for this lovely holiday, your pinkness, it was truly delightful, but I think I'll be on my way." He said to the moon and to no one, or so he thought.

Without the draw he felt before walking into the forest in the first place, he suddenly felt very out of place and very ... seen.

As he turned to leave, Loki noticed that the forest floor near where he had stopped was dented and almost ... false. Magic or no, Loki knew a trick when he saw one. He bent down to touch the area and get a better sense of why he might have been brought here.

"Double damn." He said under his breath as he felt the cool tip of something sharp against his neck. He stood up slowly, stretching out his spine, ready to plaster on his usual dashing appearance. Dimples dazzling, check. Wit locked and loaded, check check. Loki inhaled sharply and began to speak but much to his annoyance he was immediately interrupted.

"Why are you here?" The voice was low and stunted, disguised.

"I'm just answering a call," He said, thinking back to the pull he felt to come to this spot. "I was asked here. Of course, many desire my attention, few get to obtain it, you should count yourself extremely fortunate to be in my presen...."

"Silence. Turn around."

Loki's face fell slightly, irritated at being cut off, again, but he quickly recovered. "As you wish." Loki bowed low and faced his attacker slowly and cautiously lifting his head, flicking his hair back out of his face.

His new.. .friend was shrouded with a hood and holding a very poison dipped looking arrow directly at him. Upon seeing Loki they dropped their bow down to their side hastily.

"Leave this place."

"Well..." He laughed "That I could, but it seems like I am exactly where I am supposed to be."

"I SAID GO SNAKE." The arrow was back in his face, nearly kissing his right eye. Her voice cracked, and anger finally gave her away. Loki's smile deepend even further. He realized that she wasn't interested in hurting him, just making him leave her alone. Something new he officially decided he wasn't willing to do just yet, things were just getting interesting.

"My lady. Allow me time to explain myself."

"I said leave." Her words were like poison spit through clenched teeth and he was actually considering giving in to her, but only for a moment of course.

"I am not inclined to intrude, I assure you, but I have this.. Uh.. confidant, who insisted that I come to you... to assist you of course." Actually, of course, Loki had no idea why he was brought here, what the moon needed from him or even if this is where it intended on stopping him. The trees simply could have choked it out.
