"Ahhh congrats Tsuki, I-I'm so happy you're able to go-"
"No you're not."
"Eh-"
"We're going to different colleges. We're going to be apart from each other, for the first time in years."
"Yeah well we're going to still be together right?"
"Well yeah. But can you handle a long distance relationship?"
"Of course I can. Can YOU handle a long distance relationship?"
I gave Tsuki a hug. After that we spent the rest of the summer trying to make up for future lost time. Then over the next school year we fell apart. We went from texting and facetiming every hour, to everyday, to every week, to every month, and even as far as once every year, then we just stopped dating in general.
It's been 4 years. I would see him on tv a lot. I was grateful he was able to make it pro. Unlike me who works at bar filled with married drunk men, and underage children.
I got home from a long day from work and sighed taking off my uniform. I put on some pajamas and looked at my mail.
"Bill... bill... oooh check." I smiled and sighed. I got up to get something to eat, I put the mail on the table then sighed opening my empty refrigerator. I'll just make a sandwich for dinner.
Actually. I have overtime tomorrow. I'll just head to bed. I laid in bed and hummed. I looked out my window at the night sky. This was never the way I wanted to go. Maybe I should talk to one of my old friends.
Text Messages:
Yamaguchi: Hey Hinata
Hinata: Yama, it's nice to hear from you again!
Yamaguchi: You too. I didn't know if you would be awake at this time.
Hinata: Can't sleep. You?
Yamaguchi: Same, anyways what do you do now?
Hinata: I don't work haha.
Yamaguchi: Ahh lucky
Hinata: I'm not Terushima is never home
Yamaguchi: Well, me and Tsuki aren't together anymore so I would say you're lucky.
Hinata: gasp really
Yamaguchi: Yep
Hinata: You too were so cute thooo awwww
Yamaguchi: Yeah well we weren't high school sweetheart like you and teru
Hinata: Oh stop
Yamaguchi: Lol well I got to get to bed good night Hinata
Hinata: goodnight Yamaguchi let's talk more.
Yamaguchi: Of course.
I sighed then put my phone on the charger.
