Yamaguchi's Pov:
"Sh-she." My eyes widened and teared up. Tsuki was breathless, and he picked up Toshiko. She looked confused then looked at me.
"Mama!" I covered my mouth as tears fell down my cheek. Our baby just spoke for the first time, like actual words. Of course her first word was dada but I'm still happy.
"H-hi precious..."
She babbled again, I wiped my tears and grabbed her from Tsuki. She started playing with my hair. I looked at Tsuki and snickered.
"Tsuki~ don't cry."
"Sh-shut up I'm not crying."
"Haha well she knows our names now a-and how to talk." I stood up and Tsuki did the same. We got our day started. Every time she would start babbling she would say either mama or dada first. To signal who she's talking to. The cuteness broke my heart about a million times.
"Maybe but you have to ask mommy." Tsuki said. Toshiko crawled over to me and then stood up.
"Mama!" She babbled the rest of her question and I snickered.
"No more watermelon Toshiko." Her lip quivered and she hic up. I heard Tsuki aw and I looked at him confused.
"What?"
"She cries like you."
"Stop!"
Toshiko sat down and started crying. She started kicking her legs and yelling louder. She was having a temper tantrum. Her first temper tantrum, my eyes widened and Tsuki watched. We had no idea what to do with her screaming on the floor. Tsuki whispered in my ear and I nodded.
He walked over to the T.V, and turned it on. He started playing songs that she'd dance to and she started sniffing again to listen to them. She eventually crawled over to the couch with Tsuki and I smiled.
I finished making lunch for everyone. I cut up some leftover watermelon for Toshiko then picked her up. I put her in her high chair and she started eating her pepperoni and cheese. I gave Tsuki his sandwhich and he smiled at me.
"Take a break baby."
"No mind if I do thank you."
