Chapter 48

TimeSkip: 1 Year Later
Tsukishima's Pov: 

I watched Toshiko skip happily to her room. I was confused cause usually she'll just wave get a snack then go to her room. But now she just skips to her room. Tadashi hummed looking at her too. He snickered to himself looking back at the T.V. 

"Must be a girlfriend." 

"What?" 

"Toshiko must have a girlfriend." 

"What makes you say that?" 

"She was blushing, her smell was excited, and she looked happier than she usual does." 

I got up and Tadashi pulled my arm. 

"Sit down Kei. It's not that big of a deal." 

"I know." 

"Then sit down." 

"I'll just talk to her." 

"Just talking." 

"Yes." 

"Don't yell at her Kei." 

"I'm not. I promise." 

He let go of my arm and I went up stairs. Before I opened it, I heard heavy breathing. It was erratic and I froze. Tadashi came up behind me and heard the same. 

"Let's not bother her Kei. It'll be embarrassing for her if we walked in." I froze still in shock. 

"Tadashi she-" 

"Yeah we know. How about we just talk to her when she gets down okay?" 

"Fine." 

He pulled me back downstairs. I can tell he was kind of distraught about it also. After about 30 minutes Tadashi started cooking, after he cooked Toshiko came out of her room. 

"Hey daddy. Hey mama." Toshiko said handing me her homework. I couldn't check it properly cause I was too focused on what to say to her. 

"All correct." 

"As always." She said taking her paper from me and started to walked towards the kitchen. 

"Wait, wait, sit down." She sat down then looked at me confused. I sighed trying to figure out what to say to her.

"Alright... um Toshi, what were you so happy about?"

She smiled and cleared her throat.

"I got Tamaka's number! From school, she's so pretty daddy!" I sighed and tapped my chin.

"Why were you in your room for so long?"

She blushed and scratched her head.

"I was just c-cleaning my room up some."

"Toshiko."

"I- I was."

"You wanna keep lying?"

"... fine."

She mumbled under her breath but I still heard her. She started tearing up and I pat her head.

"Don't cry. I'm not mad at you."

"This is so embarrassing."

"Well don't cry. I was surprised a lot but I don't care."

"..."

"I won't make it a big deal if you don't Toshiko."

"O-okay."

Tadashi came over to us and hit me in the head.

"Your not supposed to make her feel embarrassed Kei!"

"Oi don't hit me Tadashi."

"Well you better do something about it then."

He said giggling. I got up and started chasing him. Toshiko started giggling and Tadashi smiled at me.
