Chapter 46

TimeSkip: 1 Week Later
Yamaguchi's Pov: 

"You want a bird?" 

"Yes please, please, please daddy. I'll take good care of it." 

"Why a bird though?" 

"Because birds are amazing~" 

"Are you sure?" 

"Yep!" 

Kei looked at me with a sigh. I shrugged my shoulders. 

"Fine." 

"EEEEE THANK YOU MAMA AND DADDY YOU'RE THE BEST!" She squealed hugging the both of us. She ran to her room. I sighed and looked at Kei. 

"Are you sure we should get her a bird?" 

"If that's what she wants. We'll take it away if she doesn't care of it, but I doubt we need to." Kei said going back to drinking his tea. I shrugged. 10 minutes later she came back down ready for school and Kei got his keys. 

"Well... I'm off." He said taking his tea with him. 

"Bye Mama! Love you!" She said waving. I waved back with a smile. 

"Love you too." 

They left and I locked the door back. I started washing dishes and sighed. I just relaxed all day like usual. Kei got home at 1 pm and I hugged him. 

"I missed you." 

"I missed you too baby. You should really find a hobby to do. I don't want you in the house bored all day." 

"Don't worry. I'll have a lot on my hands once you get that child a bird." He chuckled and kissed my cheek. 

"Are you hungry. I made lunch a little while ago." 

"Yeah. Thank you." 

I made him a plate of just grilled cheese and he ate it. He put his mug from his tea earlier in the sink and sighed. 

"I want you to be able to do something, while we're gone." 

"Don't worry Kei! I'm fine." 

"Are you? What do you do while we're gone?"

"Wait for you to come back, cook, clean. Sometimes I listen to podcast and write down how I feel about them, but then I just throw it away. And I also talk to Shoyo, Koshi, and Yu sometimes." 

"I guess. But are you bored?" 

"Nope. I'm perfectly content with my life. Y-you are too right?" 

"Yes I am."

He started eating and I sat beside him. My phone started to ring. I saw it was Toshiko's school and I bit my lip. 

"Hello?" 

"Is this Tsukishima Tadashi?" 

"Yes?" 

"Your daughter is in heat. And we need you to come pick her up immediately."

"O-okay." I hung up and Kei looked at me confused. 

"Come on. We have to pick Toshiko up!" 

"Was it a half day today?" 

"No. She's in heat." 

We rushed out the door and got in the car. I started panic started rising in my body. Once we entered her school we saw her principal standing in front of her office door. She opened the door for us and we saw Toshiko on the floor crying. 

Kei picked her up. I apologized to her principal. We quickly brought her home and I gave Toshiko one of my supplements. 

"Feel better?" 

"A-a little. St-still hurts."

"You probably need some with more pain relievers. Don't worry your dad is going to get you some soon." 

Kei nodded and went to the store. 

"You do remember the very important talk we had right?" 

"Yes." 

"Good now go lay down until daddy comes back okay?"
