TimeSkip: 4 Days Later
Yamaguchi's Pov:

Toshiko came home and looked at me confused. She gave me a hug then looked around, I'm guessing for Kei. It was his turn to go out and see my grandparents. 

"He went out to see your great grandparents."

"Oh. Well can you help me with my homework Mama?" 

I nodded and she opened her bag. She brought out her folder with her homework and started working on it. I helped her with it. Once she was done she put her folder away. She got up and quickly walked to her room. 

I finished sweeping the kitchen. When she came back down she was blushing. 

"Hey Mama." 

"Hey, you hungry?" 

"No. I um have something to show you."  

"Alright. Let me see." 

She took a deep breath before showing me a lesbian pride flag. I awed and hugged her. 

"I'm so proud of you Toshi~" 

"Confused?" 

"Well you know a little bit of who you are now. And I'm proud." 

"Th-thank you mama."

"I'm so happy you told me." I was still a little self-conscious about her having a stronger relation with Kei instead of me. Even though I know she told him first. 

"Now, that's done. I would like to talk to you about me getting a pet." I giggled and nodded my head. 

"Last week, you said I had a chose on getting a pet. And after a long week of thinking, I decided that I want a bird." 

I flinched and looked at her confused. 

"A bird?" 

"Yes." 

"Why do you want a bird?" 

"Because birds are so cute, and they fly and their so bird-like you know." 

"You don't want a cat or something?" 

"Ew no. I want a bird."

"Okay...? Do you know what bird you want?" 

"Yes. I want a Blue-Crowned Conure bird!" I sighed and face planted. 

"Do you know how to take care of a bird." 

"Yep." 

"Alright. We'll see if your father will get you a bird. But if you don't take care of it, we're taking it back." 

"YEE! THANK YOU MAMA!" 

She went up to her room and I shook my head. I sighed and smiled to myself. I wonder how Kei will react to her wanting to get a bird.
