TimeSkip: 3 Months Later
Yamaguchi's Pov:
"Toshiko you better hurry up before someone else buys it." Kei said as we stood by the door. She ran out her room and basically flu down the stairs. I snickered and Kei opened the door. She ran out and cheered.
We all got in the car. Kei drove us to the pet shop. Toshiko was basically shaking with excitement in the back seat. When we got there she ran inside.
"Where is it daddy?"
"We got to get stuff for your bird first."
"Well come on!" She grabbed a cart and started getting things that bird would need. Kei and I tried to keep up with her as she ran around the store picking out thing.
"Are you even looking at prices? We got bills to pay child." I said finally catching up with her and catching my breath. She looked at me confused. Kei chuckled and shook his head.
"Nope. Toshiko here is paying for everything. Expect the bird of course." She nodded and I looked at them confused. I hummed. Must be why she was helping Ms. Ida every weekend.
"Yep! I got 300 dollars to spend mama!"
"Welp carrying on then."
When she was done getting everything, Kei and I put everything she bought in the car. He drove us to another pet store and Toshiko squealed when she walked in. There was a room full of birds and she looked inside the window.
"Which one is mine daddy?"
"You'll see."
I snickered at how excited she was. Kei talked to a guy. Toshiko looked at the window and smiled.
"You seem excited."
"I am! I can't wait. I know excited what to name it."
"What?"
"If it's a boy, Azul and if it's a girl Azula." I snickered and hugged her.
"I wonder where you got those names from."
"It took a lot of brain storming Mama."
The guy Kei walked back to us. The guy he was talking to brought out a cage. The bird inside was chirping. Toshiko ran over to it and I followed. She suddenly squeezed me and I snickered.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you!" She said squeezing Kei as well. We all sat down and I overlooked the paper work. Toshiko stared at her new bird. Azula.
