21 Days Before
This morning Luke and I basically did our normal routine, get up, get ready, eat breakfast and then Luke goes off to the studio. But instead of me sitting at home doing nothing, it was girl’s day! Morgan, Abby and I decided that first we will go out to eat at TGI Friday’s, get a mani and pedi then finally do some shopping. It was currently noon so that was my cue to get going and meet the girls at TGI Friday’s. I did a quick and peaceful ride and then walked inside to find Morgan and Abby.
“Hello, how many people?” The hostess asked.
“I’m actually meeting someone here, thanks” I smiled at the lady and walked to find Morgan and Abby.
“Hey, Kaitlyn, over here!” I heard Morgan say from the distance.
I quickly walked over and said “Oh, Hi. Where’s Abby?”
“She running a little late but from what I believe she texted me, she’s on her way” Morgan said.
“Great! Did you order drinks yet?” I asked.
“No, I told the waitress that I would order once you guys got here” Morgan answered.
“So how have you been feeling?” I asked.
“Well I’m starting to get morning sickness which I absolutely hate with a passion” Morgan replied.
“Oh the morning sickness. I most definitely will not miss that” I laugh.
“Oh look there’s Abby” Morgan quickly pitched in.
“Hey there girly!” I squealed.
“Hey guys! So sorry that I was running a bit late. Michael was in desperate need to get some this morning, which held me back a bit” Abby laughed and sat next to me.
“Only you guys” I say.
“Before we know it, you guys will be having a baby!” Morgan exclaimed.
“I don’t think that will be happening anytime soon” Abby laughed.
“Good, we already have too many babies coming soon” I say.
“I agree, and personally I think I’m still a bit too young for a baby. Also, Michael and I just have started dating so that would be a little weird” Abby explains.
“I agree, just wait. It will be worth it in the end” Morgan smiles.
Our waitress comes back and asks us what we would like to drink. I order a simple cherry limeade, Morgan orders a lemonade and Abby orders a raspberry margarita.
“I can’t wait to finally start drinking again. Its nice to have a glass of wine once in a while rather than having to wait 9 months” I say.
“Well at least its all worth it in the end” Abby smiles.
“Same here. I’m only a couple months pregnant and already in desperate need of a drink once in a great while” Morgan pitches in.
“So what are guys ordering?” I ask.
“I think I’m going to get a simple order of a burger since they are amazing” Abby responds.
“I think I’m going to get the broccoli cheese soup” Morgan awes.
“Same here Morgan. There soup is also amazing” I exclaim.
We order exactly what we wanted, we chit chat for a little bit and then our food arrives. We groan in awe since the food is so good but fills you up so quickly. Abby being the nice person she is, decided to pay for our lunch and then we are off to get our nails done.
