18 Days Before
It was currently 3:47am. Ella has already pooped all over Luke, spit up all over myself and Ella won’t stop crying. Oh, the joys of having a newborn.
“Luke, I don’t know what to do. I just fed her and also just got a diaper change” I whispered.
“Why don’t you go downstairs and grab her nook, maybe she just needs that” Luke suggested.
With that I ran downstairs and grabbed Ella’s nook, I also grabbed myself a cup of water since I was very thirsty. Then I made my way back upstairs to find something so adorable I swear I was about to cry tears of adorableness. Luke was sitting in the rocking chair, holding Ella in his arms, singing her a song which was probably one of the boy’s newest song. The lyrics “She sleeps alone, my heart wants to come home; I wish I was, I wish I was, beside you.” Probably one of the best lyrics I ever heard.
“So, Luke” Luke jumped a little bit, “Is this one of the newest song you guys wrote” I smiled and walked up to Luke and Ella who was so peacefully sleeping.
“Umm, actually yes but it means a little bit more to me since it’s the song I wrote for you” Luke responded.
“Really?” I smiled and tears started running down my face.
“Really” Luke smiled back and plopped a kiss on my lips.
“It’s amazing, the lyrics, everything” I gave another kiss to Luke.
“Thank you, beautiful. The song is called Beside You and it suites our relationship perfectly. How I’m always on tour, or at least I’m soon to go on tour again. I always miss you, so when I’m basically laying in bed with my loves not by me, I can listen to the song” Luke explained.
“And so can I, you are the best soon to be husband ever. I couldn’t ask for better” I plopped many sloppy kisses onto Luke and I was still crying, I was an emotional wreck.
“We can listen to the full song later today, it’s too early in the morning” Luke laughed.
“I agree” I yawned.
Luke got up and gently set Ella into her bassinet that was in our room, and then Luke and I fell into a peaceful nap.

It was now currently 7:30am, the same day. Our 4 hour nap was basically all the sleep we received over night. Ella was simultaneously crying so Luke got up and handed Ella over to me so I could feed her. While I was doing so, Luke got up and quickly took a shower and brought up to coffees, one for me and one for him.
“So what are the plans for today?” Luke asked while putting my coffee cup on my nightstand.
“Well, I was going to ask if you could run to the grocery store since there are barely and food for us. Oh, and I want to hear this so called song, Beside You” I responded.
“I will do both, anything for you” Luke kissed me, “So, do you want me to do that now?”
“Why not” I laughed
“Okay, babe” Luke kissed both Ella and I and he went on his way.
After I was done feeding Ella, I set her back in her crib and quickly ran into the shower. 3 minute showers were all I got nowadays and I never got the chance to make myself look presentable but I didn’t care. After I was done, I grabbed Ella and we went downstairs so I could make myself a bowl of granola for breakfast. Once I was done, Ella laid in my arms while I sat on the couch looking at social media. I first went on to Twitter and everything was baby talk which was very nice, and so went along with Facebook and Instagram. Ella was quite famous already. Then Luke arrived back home.
“Hey french fry! How was shopping?” I asked.
“Good, I got a lot of food to last us a while” Luke responded.
“That’s good, now we don’t have to worry about going anytime soon!” I exclaimed.
“I agree. While I was shopping, my mom called” Luke said.
“Is that good or bad? What did she say?” I asked.
“It’s good. She asked how Ella was doing and how sad she is for not being here for the birth but after that I received some good news from her!” Luke squealed.
“And what’s that?” I smiled.
“Well she said that my brothers, my dad and her are coming down to visit in a couple days and they will stay for a couple of days!” Luke happily smiled.
“That is awesome! I miss them so much!” I smiled also.
“I miss them so much too! Since I go on tour very soon, it’s nice that they will visit me before I go off and won’t see them for a couple of months” Luke said.
“Speaking of tour, can I still join you guys once Ella is a month old?” I ask.
“Of course! I believe we will be in Chicago then, so that will be perfect since you always tell me how badly you want to go there” Luke smiled.
“That will be amazing!” I squeal.
“Great. So do you want to hear this song I wrote for you?” Luke asks.
“Well, duh!” I laugh.
Luke sits next to Ella and I and he finds the song in his music list, he hits the play button and we look at each other while the song plays.
“This is adorable” I basically cry half way through the song.
“Shhh” Luke smiles, “Enjoy the song”
I do so while the amazing song lyrics fill my ears, I look down at Ella, she is peacefully sleeping but she has a faint smile on her face. Luke looks down also and we both smile at each other in awe. Then the song ends.
“So how did you like the song?” Luke asks.
“I love it!” I smile, “I believe Ella did also. We will always listen to this when you are gone.”
“I knew you would like it!” Luke plops a kiss on my lips and hugs Ella and I.
The rest of our day consisted of family bonding and how grateful I am to have a sweet and loving soon to be husband I have, for now.

DUN DUN DUN! Sorry I haven’t updated in ages! I have been so busy with work and school, I never had time to update. I am now on Spring Break so I will make sure I update every day. Maybe I will update twice a day, you will never know (; Love you all!
