After teleporting to Baxter High, Sabrina sent Nick a message to meet her there instead. She tried calming herself, their family conversation still fresh from her mind, then she suddenly felt her stomach grumbling. Ugh! The one time Aunt Hilda cooks for us again, and I didn't even get a bite, she thought.
"Hey beautiful!" Nick suddenly appeared behind her.
She turned to face him and tapped the empty space beside her.
"So I take it the conversation went well?" He asked skeptically.
"Don't remind me." Then she noticed the brown paper bags that Nick had with him. "What's in the bag?"
He smiled at her and opened the bag, bringing out the food that she noticed earlier at the Mortuary. She looked at Nick with a questioning look.
"I brought breakfast. And lunch. Courtesy of your Aunt Hilda."
"You've been at the house?"
"Well, shortly after I received your message, Ambrose also sent me one, telling me to come over and get our breakfast and lunch."
Her eyebrows met. "Did the Aunties talk to you?"
"No. Haven't seen them actually, but Ambrose said something about me being officially welcomed at the Mortuary, and that Hilda will be preparing a room for me?"
She beamed. So, her speech was probably considered. She took a mental note of hugging and thanking her Aunt Hilda the next time she saw her.
Nick took her hand and gave it a kiss. "I guess I'm good with your Aunties. And also not, since they're subtly telling me to get another room?"
She chuckled. "Not gonna happen. You're staying in my room, Scratch. Aunt Hilda will come around. Unless, you wanna take that other room?"
"Nah," he said with full conviction. "I'd rather stay with you, Spellman. As long as you want me." He grinned.
"Always." And they shared another light kiss. "Let's dig in."

The rest of the day came by as a blur. For the most part, her plan on having just a normal day seems to be working out. Right now, they just finished their student council meeting and were hanging out in the courtyard. The Battle of the Bands has been officially approved and tomorrow, they'll be posting the official posters made by Harvey.
"What time will Nick's training be done, Brina?" Theo asked her.
"I'm not sure."
"And here I thought you'd be the busy one." Roz chuckled.
"Jury's still out. Tomorrow we'll be having a cheerleading practice, and he'll be the one waiting." She said, realizing this only now too. Figures, she thought.
"Well, since he's staying at the Mortuary now too, it's good to have some time apart." Roz pointed out.
"He's what?" Theo asked.
"For now, he's staying there and c'mon guys, we literally just got back together 2 days ago. It's still really early for us to spend some time apart."
Roz and Theo chuckled and Harvey just nodded, trying to concentrate on the sketch he's doing for the poster.
"You know you guys could go, I can wait for him on my own." She felt guilty letting them wait with her.
"I don't mind waiting. It's not like I'm busy anyways." said Theo.
