"So, when my dad wakes up, he won't remember anything?" Asked Harvey as Nick turned to him. He just finished giving Mr. Kinkle one of the memory-altering spells.

"No. It'll be like he had a dream," Nick replied. They've succeeded. Her friends did crush the battle of the bands and their spell resurrected Peggy Lou Simcox, who got her revenge by banishing Satanic Panic back to the Underworld. They have also rescued Harvey's dad, who Nick teleported back to their house with her and her friends following.

"Thanks, dude. Thanks for what you guys did at the Battle of the Bands." Harvey's voice was filled with sincerity. And when she saw Nick offer his hand for a handshake, warmth filled her. It's true that they've all been hanging out together but she figured Nick only did it because they were her friends but there was something about their handshake that made her really happy. She and Roz's eyes met and she knew that her best friend felt the same.

"Okay, now can we talk about how we totally crushed it?" Their eyes all traveled to Theo who had Robin behind him. They all chuckled.

"Yes. It was totally amazing and thrilling at the same time." Roz replied as they all moved to the kitchen.

"It was a good thing we finished the spell before you guys started." She said as she took a seat across Roz and Theo. Since Harvey's kitchen only had 4 chairs in each corner, Nick just stood up behind her, hands on her shoulders. Harvey also just chose to stand and lean on the counter with Robin.

"It was a bit daunting when Peggy showed up as we were performing," said Harvey.

"Dude, are you kidding? It was totally incredible! Especially when she turned to Satanic Panic and she started obliterating them with fire." Awe was filled with Theo's voice.

"I think you're still running high on adrenaline," Nick said.

"We all are. I think." Roz agreed.

Just then, she felt an itch on her arm. When she looked, there was a message from Ambrose.

Cousin, we need you back at the Mortuary.

She showed it to Nick and she unconsciously stood up.

"What's up?" Theo asked, all eyes on them.

"We're being summoned back home." As much as she wanted to stay and still talk to her friends, they needed to go.

"Hopefully it's something good," Nick added as he took her hand, ready to teleport.

"Tomorrow guys." She said and heard Nick muttering the teleportation spell and she felt it carrying them back to the Mortuary.

As they both appeared on the bottom of her porch steps, they saw Ambrose facing the graveyard with a somber look on him. She quickly climbed the steps and joined him.

"Mambo has defeated the Resurrected, or well, Lilith has, to be exact." Her cousin said as soon as they were within a hearing distance.

Isn't it supposed to be good news, she asked herself. Yet, Ambrose's expression tells them a different story. "How'd she do that?" She asked as Nick settled beside her, leaning on the rails.

"I have no idea, just that Zelda said she did. And on top of that, Mambo isn't exactly who she says she is."

She looked at him quizzically.

"Ever came across a 'Baron Samedi' in any of your readings?" He asked them both.

"No." She said almost immediately.

"One of the Loas of the Haitian Voodoo?" Nick asked with an arched brow.

Ambrose nodded. "Also known as the Master of the Dead."
