Too Close: an Aaron Carpenter fanfic

Chapter 6

Nash's POV:

Aaron got back into the hotel room and he looked worried.

"Aaron what's wrong?" I asked while unwrapping one of the tacos. He was trying to talk but no words were coming out. He finally managed to speak and he answered with:

"I..I... Ugh.." He sighed "Emily caught me kissing another girl.."

"Why the hell would you do that?!" I yelled standing up, my hands in fists.

I got so mad I couldn't stand being in the same room as Aaron. I can't believe him!
I started walking through the halls and was looking for Em. I couldn't find her anywhere. I'm starting to get worried. I walked over to Emily's room just to see if anyone was there, but when I got to her room, the door was a tad opened. My heart started beating 1,000 miles per second. Who forgets to close their door all the way? I decided to walk into Em's room, but none was in there.

I looked everywhere except for the bathroom. I walked over to the bathroom and knocked on the door. No answer. I put my hand on the door knob and tried to open it. Locked. I was starting to panic.

"EMILY OPEN THE DOOR! NOW!" I didn't hear any movement. Shit.

"EMILY! OPEN THE DAMN DOOR!" I was banging on the door and screaming. Still no answer or monument.

I ran into the door and barged it down. Oh. My. God. Emily was laying on the floor surrounded by a puddle of blood with a razor in one hand and a blood filled cloth in the other. I tried shaking her to get her up and I got no response.

I took my phone out of my pocket as fast as I could and dialed 911. Once I called the ambulance, I picked Em up bridal style and carried her downstairs as quick as possible. The ambulance arrived not too long after I had called. Just as I was about to go into the ambulance with Emily, the paramedic said:

"I'm sorry sir. Only family is allowed." Is he fucking serious? NONE ELSE IS HERE RIGHT NOW EXCEPT FOR ME!

" But sir, please."

"I'm sorry. Young man, but only family. Let me ask you this, are you related to her? Are you close to her?"

Shit, shit, shit. Come on Nash think!

" I- um.. I'm here boyfriend.. "

" Are you sure? You don't sound too positive? "

" Yes sir, I'm sure! Now can we please leave? We are waisting time. " the paramedic rolled his eyes at me and let me in. God, what a fucking jerk.

The ride to the hospital was really quiet. I am so worried about Emily.. I hope she's going to be ok. The whole ride I couldn't help but stare at her. While I was staring at her, I realized something. Her sleeve was still rolled up. I couldn't help but stare at her arm full of scars. I dozed off staring at her arm until the paramedic snapped me back into reality.

" Sir, come on. We are at the hospital. "

" Oh, sorry. I dozed off." I said while getting out of the ambulance.

Everyone started screaming things about Emily and a bunch of nurses were coming out of every corner to take her somewhere. I started running with Emily to the room until a doctor pulled me aside and said

" I'm sorry, you can't go further than this."

I tried to get out of his grip.

" Let me go! I need to be with her! And she needs me! "

" she is going into surgery right now. She lost a lot of blood. I need to go check some test results. When I get her test results back I will let you know."

I started to calm down and sat in a chair in the waiting room. I called Cameron first and told him everything that happened.

" Wow.. Nash.. Dude, I will be over as quick as I can. I will tell everyone else. "

" See you soon. "

" Yea man, see you soon. "

** 3 HOURS LATER**

Emily was out of surgery and everyone was waiting for her to wake up. The doctor started to walk towards us and I stood up.

" Good news and Bad news. Emily made it through the surgery and is now recovering, but something may happen to her. She will need someone who has the same blood type as her. I am going to need people who are willing to test their blood."

" I will." Me and Aaron say in unison.

" Me too." Hayes said.

" Us too." Melody and Jade said at the same time.

In the end, everyone said they would test their blood.

** 1 HOUR LATER**

Me, Hayes, and Aaron are the only ones left to get our blood tested, and so far, it's not going good.

" Aaron Carpenter, your next. " the doctor said.

Aaron's POV:

I was on my phone scrolling through twitter trying to get my mind my worst fear right now. Emily dying because of me. This is all my fault! I'm such an idiot! Why am I so selfish! I need to stop worrying. She is going to be ok. Just as I was about to go to the bathroom, the doctor came out and said: " Aaron Carpenter, your next. "

I walked into a room with the doctor and he told me to take a seat. I sat down and he said, " I will be back in just a second. " I said ok and he left the room. The doctor came back about five minutes later. He took my arm and stuck the needle into my vein and filled up the shot with my blood.

" I will let you know the results as soon as possible. Wait here. " the doctor left the room and came back about 10 minutes later.

" So.. Um.. Good news or.. " I ask nervously.

" I'm so sorry. But you and Emily don't have the same blood type. "

I could feel my heart shatter into 1,000,000 pieces. Tears reaching the brim of my eyes. I started to get frustrated. I started screaming and throwing things.

" SHE NEEDS TO HAVE THE SAME BLOOD TYPE AS ME! SHE NEEDS TO! I NEED HER TO LIVE! I NEED HER! " I scream.

" Sir, please calm down. " the doctor said to me.

" NO I WILL NOT FUCKING CALM DOWN! LET ME SEE HER! I NEED TO SEE HER FACE! "

" Sir, if you don't calm down I am going to need to call security. " the doctor said.

I couldn't take this anymore. This is all my fault! I ran out of the room, and everyone was screaming " Aaron! Come back! " I didn't listen. I just kept on running. I couldn't stop. I need to leave. Emily doesn't deserve any of this. I should just leave. I ran out of the hospital and kept on running. I ran back to the hotel and saw someone who I wish I hadn't seen. Katie.
