1 Week later. . .

"Miss Teyana you are indeed eight weeks pregnant today," Dr. Lawson said. Dame made sure he got Teyana an appointment at the hospital after running through all the pregnancy tests from CVS. He watched intently as the black female doctor hooked Teyana to the machines. Dame had been wanting kids with Teyana since forever. The way Tee Money was with his son, touched Dame in a way he had never experienced before. It made him really view life was precious and he knew he wanted that for his life.

Dame was gonna be there every step of the way, especially since both Teyana and Dame didn't have their own fathers in their lives, he felt it was that much more important to be a great dad. He wanted to know everything. Teyana lifted up her oversized Janet Jackson T-Shirt to allow the doctor to check her and the baby out. Dr. Lawson placed some jelly-like substance on Teyana's stomach and began to rub it in.

"I'm so nervous, we didn't think we were gonna be expecting so soon," Teyana said. Teyana had been going through it since the news was confirmed. They had just began to pick up the pieces of their lives after all the drama and cheating rumors.

"Don't worry all new mothers get nervous," the doctor said, setting up the machine, "You will be fine." Dame held her hand, as they were being directed to look at the screen. They saw a fetus the size of a grape before the GMO appear on the screen. Dame smiled, "Ah, that's Dameion Jr, right there!" Teyana looked at him and smirked, "No,that is little Tey Tey."

Dame waved his hand in the air, "You heard what I said." He was getting excited. Teyana cut her eyes at him, "Yeah, whatever." They began to fawn over everything, even though it was still early. They pointed to the screen. The doctor even let them touch the screen, Dame's hand over Teyana's they began to feel their connection expanding to the seed they created.

"Now Teyana, we are going to have to get you started immediately on the pre-natal vitamins, it's essential to the babies development," the doctor said, as she handed Teyana some documents. Dame looked over Teyana's shoulder at the documents and smiled when he saw the words "Things Pregnant women Cannot Consume." He was going to be watching Teyana like the wardens did at Rikers Island. They listened to the doctor give them an overview of what to expect in the upcoming weeks of pregnancy.

"I'm going to print these sonograms for you, and we'll talk next appointment," Dr. Lawson said. as she began to wipe the cream off of Teyana's still flat tummy.

"We got this babe," Dame said, kissing her cheek.

"And I just want you to know yo' ass ain't slick." Teyana rolled her eyes as she tried to tune out Dame's voice as they entered their condo. She said nothing as she went to the bedroom and plopped down on the memory foam mattress. Dame had turned into her long lost father after the doctors appointment. She heard his footsteps and screamed into the pillow.

"Yo, you gone quit ignoring me Tey!" Dame said, slapping her on the butt. Teyana yelped, and flipped over, "Ain't nobody ignoring you, you been talking all week." Dame sat down on the bed and pulled her body onto his lap, before leaning down kissing her forehead.

"I just wanna do this right shorty," he said, placing his right hand on her belly.

"I know, and I love you," she said, placing her hand over his on her belly.

"I love you too, but..." he paused, trying to choose his words carefully, "Bring me that shoe box."

"The Nike one with the shoes from last week?" she said.
