After the pizza was warm in the oven and her things were dried and in a bag, I went searching for Lilliana some pajamas. She kept refusing me, saying she'd be fine, but my grandma and mother's home training had been too far engrained in me.

"Here. This is some shorts and a t-shirt. The rest of my stuff is a little too big for you, since I'm taller," I explained. It was just some black basketball shorts I had grown out of and an old summer camp shirt from maybe eighth grade or ninth. It was tighter than I would like, so I offered to let Lilliana keep it. I guess that was a weird offer because she covered up a "you're weird" face quickly and gave me a big smile, "Thanks for everything Teyanne."

Here I was doing it again, spoiling a girl and knowing she'd probably use me for my dough. No other girl had ever wanted me to be by their side for long. The lisp was cute at first, but then they get annoyed with that. The money is nice at first, but then the relationship turns to "why can't I have", "why can't I have", "why can't I have". Then my other problem...they never wanted to wake up with me because of my other issue. It sucked to even think about that.

"My shower is through there," I pointed. "When you're done, let me know, so I can get in," which was my polite way of saying don't take forever but take care of what you need to. While Lilliana showered, I cleaned my bed and fixed it up. Then I went onto cleaning up my room and finding something comfortable for her to sleep on. I'd give her my bed but things are too complicated.

"I didn't see any towels, Teyanne. I hope it's alright if I used your robe to dry," she poked her head out. I grabbed my clothes I needed and nodded to her. I was mentally exhausted and didn't feel like talking. "It's fine," I said real quietly, stifling a yawn.

I went in after her, hoping she'd find the area I had made up in the sitting room for her to sleep on. She looked just as tired as me. I put my clothes on the counter then got myself ready for bed.

After I was done showering and doing everything else, I unbraided my hair and brushed it out, combing it into a bun for the night and slapping a bonnet over it. I closed the bathroom door behind myself and found Lilliana fast asleep on my bed, laid across it.

I didn't bother waking her up and instead went to sleep where I had set for her to sleep. I'll contact my grandma and my mom tomorrow. I'm tired enough.

You know when you're upset about something and all you can think is "I don't like it", "I don't like it", that was my mood right now. Lilliana refused to wake up and she was hogging my bed. Meanwhile, I had a hell of a cleanup to make from last night's disaster, and my grandma and mother were blowing up my phone with messages and calls.

I went downstairs and flung myself on the couch after a long, hot shower. "Hey-

"Teyanne Avoni Sully," my mother yelled. "We have been trying to contact you since last night. I heard about those deer sightings then the bad weather. The church- a window broke too," she ranted.

"I'm sorry. You won't believe this but a friend of mine got caught up with the deers and her car was fu- messed up pretty bad. And my house needed a pretty good cleanup too. I'm really sorry, you know I would have answered."

"So that was the mysterious charge on grandma's card. I was going to call the bank but they weren't open yet. I thought someone had hatcheted us," she shouted into the phone.
