"Hey Mom. Yea, I used to leave them right by da stove," I told my mother as I drove towards Teyanne's place. Little motherfucker had lied. Her place was hardly in Christiano, it was towards the damn near outskirts of the countryside. I was driving down a small road with mad trees and random ass animals watching my car go by. It felt like those scenes in the horror movies before something bad happens to the family about to move into a new house.

Good thing a bad bitch wasn't staying.

After I hung up with my mom so I could focus more on the road, I decided to turn on the radio and maybe catch music since I left my charger at home and I didn't want to run my battery low on my phone.

"...we're reporting a surge in deer sightings in the Christiano-Greater Houston area," the reporter commented. No one was behind me so I slowed on my brakes and put my hazards on. Shit, I need to listen to this, I might run across some of those deer.

"...anyone driving in remote areas should proceed with caution or head back towards areas with good lighting and-

Crash.

The window fell in one me and I covered my face. A deer was bucking at my car and swinging his antlers around. Something was caught in them, but he was swinging towards me. I had the good sense to cover my face with one hand and start up my car with the other before I couldn't leave at all. I started backing up slowly, then quicker.

I made a U-turn once I was a safe distance from the animal, then turned around away from the route to Teyanne's house. Disappointment rang through my body, but I was also aching and scared as shit. My airbags hadn't deployed but it still felt like I had been punched square in the face.

My radio was fucked and sputtering out random nonsense. It sure did feel like a scene out of a horror movie now. I tried to get my baby back towards town, but halfway there she died. Damn. My mom wasn't gonna be much help getting a car either. She was a car salesperson but she wanted me to earn my keep- or basically allow her to save up points for her dream car and not help her struggling college daughter.

I picked up my phone seeing a trail of blood along my hand and wrist. Hopefully it wasn't a major artery area or anything like that. I don't know shit about shit. I called Teyanne, knowing she was the closest to help me in this situation, even though I wasn't too happy about that.

For all I know her ass could have placed the deer there with the tangled stuff in his antlers and then wanted me to be lured back to her house where she could literally eat my pussy and roast my breasts like a cannibal.

I let out a deep breath. I was panicked and in shock. I need to be calm and think reasonably. If Teyanne tries to kill me, I'll just have to put up a hell of a fight.

"Hello?" Teyanne answered on the first ring.

Maybe I should have just did a group chat FaceTime, it felt too awkward to talk to her alone. "Soo, you know how on the radio they were talking about increased deer sightings," I said lightly, almost in a "isn't this funny" way. "Well, a deer fucking hit my window and now my car has stopped." Teyanne tried to start talking but I shushed her. "I managed to make a U-turn. I'm halfway back to town, but you're still the closest...friend to me."

"I'll be there in like three minutes," Teyanne rushed out, like she had been holding her breath the whole time. "I'll bring a first aid kit and call my towing company."
