As Amy and Darius walked in their apartment the tension was very thick between them. Amy walked in and threw her purse and bag on the counter and sat down at the high bar. She grabbed her phone and started checking her Instagram and Facebook.
She was not paying Darius no attention. She was pissed off at him how he showed his ass at the cookout. Darius walked to the fridge and pulled out a juice and opened it. Sipping on his drink he looked at Amy.
"What are you looking at?" Amy yelled as she got up from the counter.
"You know damn well what I'm looking at you like this. You know something and you are keeping it from me. I'm not stupid." Darius said to Amy.
"Darius not right now please. Mind your business." Amy said walking towards their bedroom.
"This is my fucking business. Erik is my boy. And I'm not about to let some bitch come along and fuck him up." Darius yells following behind her.
"Bitch? Who you calling a bitch?" Amy said turning around looking at him with a mean look on her face.
"That bitch Amiyah. Something is up with her. I'm not crazy. And you gonna tell me what it is right now." He demanded.
"I'm not telling you nothing cause it ain't nothing to tell. Now leave me the fuck along." Amy said as she walked in their bathroom.
Taking her makeup and jewelry off Amy sighed and thought about all that took place today. She couldn't believe what she heard and seen today. Darius walked in behind her and started up once again.
"I'm not playing with you Amy. What is going on?" He said leaning on the wall.
Amy sighed and rolled her eyes. She turned around and faced him.
"Why are you so determined to be in their business at all huh? You got a whole girl and worried about someone else's girl. You doing too fucking much. Mind the business that pays you and that's not Eriks and Amiyah's business. Now get out. I want to shower in peace." Amy said aggressively.
"Who you think you are talking to like that? I ain't no nigga on no damn street. And we don't keep secrets in this damn house. Now like I said what the hell is going on with her?" Darius said back.
Amy was really getting tired of him with all of that questions. Right as she was about to respond to him her cell phone started ringing. She looked at the caller Id and realized it was Amiyah calling.
"Will you get out? This is a important call and I need my privacy." Amy said holding the phone to her chest so he couldn't see who was calling.
"I'll be in the bedroom once you get out. We ain't done with this conversation." He said walking out.
Amy closed the door and locked it behind him. She sat on the toilet and answered the phone.
"Hey girl. You ok?" Amy asked Amiyah.
"No I'm not. I'm a mess. I can't believe my dad came down here with that shit. That would have been a straight disaster. What am I gonna do? I can't keep having close calls like that." Amiyah said sadly.
"I know right. Something got to be done. And Darius ass is all over me trying to find out what secret that you are keeping. He's very persistent. He's gonna keep digging until he finds out. Your secret is safe with me but what are you gonna do?" Amy said to her softly so Darius didn't hear.
"I don't know. I'm not gonna always have you or A there too cover me. If y'all wasn't there it would have been all over for me. I'm so scared Amy. I don't want to damage my relationship nor Erik finds out and leave me." Amiyah expressed.
"And see that's why I said you need to sit him down and tell him. Who knows. He may not react the way you think." Amy said trying to encourage her.
"I don't know about that. The fact of my past scares me. My community get attacked all the time and killed. I just don't know. I feel like what he don't know won't hurt him." Amiyah said.
"Why do you feel like that? It's always good to be open and upfront at the beginning. Don't take away a person right to make a decision." Amy said.
The line got quiet for a few seconds.
"Hello? Are you there?" Amy asked.
"Yes I'm here. I was just thinking on what you said. Look I'm gonna lay down for a little. I have a bad headache. Can I call you tomorrow?" Amiyah asked.
"Sure girl. Do that." Amy said.
"Thanks for listening." She said to Amy.
"Anytime." She responds back.
Amiyah hung up and laid down on the bed. After a little Erik walked back in the room. He was frustrated with the entire day. His parents had a conversation with him and he didn't like the outcome of that either. He walked over to the bed and laid with Amiyah.
"What's wrong bae?" Erik asked her grabbing her waist.
"Nothing babe. I'm just a little frustrated with the day events." Amiyah said.
"I know. So am I. I'm really sorry for how this turned out. I was hoping for a better outcome." Erik said.
"I know. But I know my dad. That's why I said I wasn't ready for this." Amiyah said to Erik.
"I know and I'm sorry. I just love you and want to know everything about you." Erik said.
"You will in due time." Amiyah said.
"You right. Give me a kiss." Erik said leaning in.
They moved in and kissed each other passionately. As they kissed Erik ran his hands down in her panties. He stared caressing her clit and then there was a knock on the door.
"Damn it. Who could this be?" He said getting up fixing himself.
He walked to the door and opened it. It was his dad.
"Something wrong dad?" He asked him.
"I just wanted to say good night and to ask you was this young lady staying over here tonight?" Alex asked.
"Dad that's none of your concern. Good night. I will see you in the morning." He said and closed the door.
Erik walked back to the bed and sat next to Amiyah.
"I'm sorry babe. I know that may have sounded cra..." he said before he was cut off.
"If you want me to leave I'll do that." Amiyah said.
"No stay. You're my woman and I'm your man. Nobody run this." Erik said.
