We got out of church and came home and ate dinner. I fixed Blair plate and sat it down in front of him. He picked up his fork and said grace. After that he started his dinner. He wasn't saying much to me since our little spat about Amiyah. I don't know why he won't just accept her for what and who she is. He keeps making a big deal over nothing. This is how the generation is now. There's a lot of people that choose to be trans. Or gay or lesbians. I will not turn on my child cause of this.

I sat down and put my plate down. I looked over at a Blair as he ate his dinner. We made eye contact a few times and all he did was look down at his food. I couldn't take no more of the silence he was giving me. I looked at him with a look on my face.

"So you are gonna continue this mess after a day? I'm sick of this now. You need to accept your child for what and who she is." Renee said as she placed food her mouth.

"Her? Nah. That is a he. And I'm not accepting that mess. I'm a pastor and I believe that the word of God says about that. That is a abominations and that is that. I don't care if it's one of my kids or not. Like I said I birthed two boys and that is what I am claiming. Enough said." Blair said as he placed more food in his mouth.

"Wow. I can't believe you. How can you turn your back on your family?" Renee said raising her voice a little.

"Turn my back? I've never turned my back on my family. But I do turn my back on sin. And what our son is doing is most definitely sin." Blair said leaning back in his chair as he drinks some of his juice.

"And you still don't get it. You don't have to like what is going on. But you can respect what your daughter have going on. Love your child regardless. That is what I'm saying. I love my child rather she's a girl or a boy." Renee said getting a little emotional.

"Now here you go getting all in your feelings about this mess. I've told you over and over again this will not move me in no form or fashion. And if I get a chance to talk to Erik one on one I'm telling that boy what is really going on. How can y'all be ok with deceiving that man like that. He's a man. And he needs to know that what he's dealing with was once a man." Blair said getting up from the table to clear his spot at the table.

"Blair that is still my child. That is her life. And I respect her. So when she's ready to tell him that will be on her. That's not my place, your place, neither Aaron's place to tell." Renee said as a matter of fact.

"Speaking of him too. He's gotten out of control with his mouth. If he keeps that up he will have consequences to pay as well. These kids think they grown cause of their ages. But they still my kids. I'll never talk to my mom or dad like that. That's totally disrespectful to us." Blair said as he washed and put his dishes away.

"Blair you provoke those kids. Own your part in it too. And that is a sin too. That's scripture too. Do not provoke your kids to wrath. And that is exactly what you have been doing at both of the kids." Renee said as she continued to clean the kitchen back up.

"How can you sit there and say that's what I do? Huh? I discipline my kids. I don't provoke them. If telling them what I will tolerate in my house and what I will not accept then yes I guess I am. But that is not the case. These boys need to be trained as men. Not a disrespectful son and a child that wants to be something that they aren't." Blair said as he sweeps the floor.

Renee was getting frustrated with Blair at this point. She didn't know what she could have said to make him see that what he is doing is tearing their family apart. As they finished the kitchen Renee had coffee brewing. They always grab them a cup and sit in the living room and watch a movie. She grabbed her cup and walked in the living room. Flipping through the tv she found her a movie. She grabbed her throw cover and put her feet under her. Sipping her coffee she watched tv.

Blair sat next to her with his cup. Usually they cuddle under the cover but this time Renee had all the cover tucked under her butt. Blair looked at her with a confused look on his face.

"So you gonna sit there and not give me some covers cause you in your feelings? Really? This is just ridiculous. Since when do we let this with our children interfere with us?" Blair said to her in a stern voice.

Renee didn't respond to him. All she did was pull the covers from under her and gave Blair some without even looking at him. He got under the cover and cuddled under his wife. Renee scoots over some where he's not under her. Blair looked at her and just turns his head. As they sat there the room was dead silence. They usually discuss what they looking at. But this time it was a total different case. As they say there Renee cell phone rings. She looked at the caller ID and saw that it was their son Aaron.

"Hey mama. What you doing?" Aaron said timed she answered.

"Watching a movie sipping my coffee. What you doing?" She asked him.

"Nothing. Just finished talking to sis about her telling Erik about her situation. Mama I don't want her to get hurt behind this. Could you try talking to her again?" Aaron asked his mom concerned.

"Baby that is not our place. We have to let your sister handle things her way. I'll mentioned something to her but at the end of the day it's not my call." Renee said to her son.

"I understand mama. Well I won't hold you up since you into your movie with daddy. I'll call you later. I love you Ma Dukes." Aaron said.

"I love you too baby. Talk to you later." Renee said as she hung it up.

Blair looked at her pissed.

"So that's how they doing? Call and talk to  your and not say nothing to their father?" Blair said in his feelings.

Renee looked at him and laughs.

"Boy please. I wouldn't call you either with how you acting. Watch the movie and hush." Renee said as she turns back to the tv.
