Digging In The Past

The next morning came by so fast. I woke up and looked at Erik. He was sound asleep with his arm around me. I really want this to work with him. But I just feel my past and what I was will run him all the way off from me.

Grant I get that he sees me as a woman and probably wouldn't believe me but I got to tell him before my past be exposed and he finds out the wrong way. I reached over and picked up my cell and called A.

The phone rung a few times and he answered the phone.

"This better be a emergency you calling and waking me the hell up this early sis." Aaron said groggy.

"I'm sorry bro. Is mom and dad still there?" She asked.

"Last I checked they were. I wasn't worried about them. The way dad showed out. I'm not talking to his ass." Aaron said.

"That's why I didn't come home last night. And it wasn't too different here. I don't think Eriks father likes me." Amiyah explained.

"Why not? You didn't do nothing wrong." Aaron said getting a attitude.

"He doesn't want me with Erik. He thinks I'm using him for his money. Said some shit about a come up." Amiyah explained.

"The fuck? You got your own shit. You don't need his ass." Aaron said with a attitude.

"Calm down A. I don't need the families battling. It's bad enough that Dad is going this mess like this. I can't handle it from both sides." Amiyah said to her brother.

"That don't make that shit right sis. And you know I will turn all the way up about your ass. So don't make me come back over there and handle that shit." Aaron said sitting up in the bed.

"Please don't do that. I don't need that please. And besides I don't care what they think. I know what we have is real and Erik has my back for sure." She said.

"Sis I don't care about all of that. You are my sister and I love you. And that is why I didn't go back home. Cause you need me out here. Your kind is already attacked and I refuse for someone to fuck with you and that's on everything. Feel me?" Aaron said.

Amiyah knew her brother was gonna react like this. That's why she didn't want to tell him. But she tells him everything and the same with him. Amiyah took a deep breath and begin speaking again.

"A I haven't told Erik about you know what yet." Amiyah said low so Erik wouldn't hear.

"What in the entire fuck sis? I told you to tell him before you even got sexually involved with him. You can't be around here playing with people like that. Cause if it was me I would be pissed all the way the fuck off. When are you gonna tell him?" Aaron asked his sister.

"Bro I don't know. I want to tell him. But I feel I will not have a relationship if I do. And I'm really into him. A I love him." Amiyah said softly.

"Well if you love him like you say you do you will tell that man the truth. He may take it good. You never know. But I'm warning you. This shit can backfire. Especially with that nosey ass friend of his. I can tell you between daddy and Darius you got your fucking hands full." Aaron said.

"You know what A I felt the same way about Darius. Amy knows and she said she will keep my secret. But she advised me to tell him too." Amiyah said.
