2 years later
"Babe come on. We are gonna be late. And I don't want to hear your brothers mouth." Erik yelled out from downstairs.
"I'm coming. I had to fix my hair."
"Your hair was fine. Please come on."
Amiyah walked down the stairs.
"How do I look?"
"Babe you look fine. Please come on. If we aren't to this dinner on time I will never hear the end of it. A already done called a thousand times." Erik said walking to the door.
"You do look beautiful baby." Erik said as he kissed her lips.
"Thank you. And you're handsome too. What's this dinner about anyway?" Amiyah asked.
"I think he's gonna ask for a hand in marriage."
"You think?" Amiyah asked him.
"He talked highly of Lexis. I think that's what it's about. I mean think about it bae when have A only been with one woman this long? It's been 2 years. Don't you think it's about time?" Erik asked her driving the truck to the restaurant.
"Yes you right baby. I just don't want her to hurt my brother. Cause we can have it out."
"No ma'am. Stay out of that. Remember us. Remember our situation. That is what caused so much drama for us. People putting their nose in our business. Let that be his decision and his alone. Now if it's something she does wrong still let that be hers and his decision. It will work out in the end." Erik said to her.
Amiyah was close to her brother. She loved him so much. Besides their mom, she didn't have anyone but him. Of coarse Erik and Vicky.
"You're right babe. I'm sorry." Amiyah said.
Erik grabbed her hand and kissed it. Holding her hand as they rode he looked at her.
"Baby I love you so much." Erik said to Amiyah.
"I love you too baby. Can you believe we have been married 2 years now?"
"I can. And I love you even more now than I did then. And nothing or no one can change that."
Amiyah leaned in and kissed his lips.
Pulling up to the restaurant, Erik parked the truck and cut off. He got out and opened the door for his wife. They walked holding hands. He opened the door for her and found Aaron. They walked over and greeted him. Erik hugged him and looked at him.
