Kai POV

"What did I do? Was it really necessary to mention that? My bad." kai sighed and went towards his mother's room.

*knock knock* he knocked but got no response. He entered the room just to his mom sitting on the bed, wiping her tears. He felt guilty at this moment. Even though she's not his real mom but she has played the role of mother in his life. He sat on the floor near his mom. "Mom, I'm... Sorry." kai held her hand.

"Don't talk to me." she took away her hand. "Mom, I know I was wrong, I agree. I spoke out words that shouldn't be said. But I can't help it, it just came out, I didn't want to speak like that its just..... Uh... Ugh." kai was lost in words.

"Okay.....I know how you're I can't blame you. But he is your father you should respect him, love him. Okay?" mom held kai's hand and made him sit on the bed. "Ah... Mom, you know. It's not... It's just complicated. I... I cannot talk to him. It's not that I'm scared but what happened back then still bothers me." kai stuttered in frustration.

"Kai jokes aside, let me tell you, In everyone's life, a times come when you need someone by your side. You came into this world alone just to be with someone and spend the rest of your life with them. Like, your dad had so many girlfriends even a wife, your mother, he loved her somewhere in his heart but for you, he married me. On the first night of our wedding, he clearly said to me that he still loves her and will always but he'll not try to hurt me and pretend to be my husband. I was hurt. But as time went we got along, we fought, we laughed we even cried, and we fell in love with each other. But you know what he told me before the wedding?" mom almost teared up.

"What?" kai asked. "He told me that whatever happens even if we don't get along with each other. I should get along with you and give you all the motherly love you deserve. And luckily you were grown up enough to understand and got along well." mom teared up.

"Mom don't cry." kai wiped out her tears and pitied his mom. "Okay... Go back to sleep." mom said. Kai nodded and went to sleep.

Kai woke up to the noise of his alarm. He got freshened and headed down to the dining hall. He saw twins sitting and as usual arguing over something. He saw his mom cooking something. "Morning mom." kai back and hugged her. "Good morning my son." she kissed his head.

"Wow you both got along with each other already?" lay was stunned. "Yeah." Kai said taking a place on an empty seat. "Wow... Japanese food." kai said happily as soon as the breakfast arrived.

"Kai you have to get the clothes I've ordered. Today. Before the dates." mom said while having breakfast. "Oh okay." kai nodded.

After having breakfast they all went to do their respective work. Kai sat on the sofa thinking about something. "Master, you have to get your clothes before evening." luhan appeared. "....Oh yeah." kai zoned in. "You also have to apologize to Mr. Oh sehun." luhan bowed.
