chapter 37

Sehun's POV 

Am I overthinking the phone calls? Kai isn't that type of guy, right? or he is? Maybe I am overthinking it. You know what? It's hard to trust someone but I trust him it's just...

No sehun you're just overthinking it, it's nothing like that. At least till we're fake dating. But what if my overthinking is right? What if he is cheating on me?! I am doomed. I am not even a match for him. Ugh... What to do?!!

"Sehun what are doing?! be careful!!" kai said to sehun, who was busy overthinking. "Ah? OH SHIT!!!" sehun turned off the gas, his food was on the rage to burn. "What happened why are you spacing out in the middle of the day?!" kai asked out of concern. "Nothing just..." sehun sighed. 

"Is there something bothering you?! You need my help?!" kai made sehun sit on the sofa and sat beside him. 

Yes, you're bothering me.

"No, I am totally fine. Nothing happened." sehun gave a weak smile. "Are you sure you're okay?" kai asked. "Yes kai I am totally fine." sehun smiled. "Okay then. Are you going to the café? Come with me I will drop you?" kai suggested. "No I will take a day off today." sehun said. "Okay.. as long as you're comfortable." Kai nodded. 

"Breakfast is ready." sehun served breakfast for kai. "Thank you." kai ate it. "I'll get going, bye!" kai said and walked out of the house.

"I'll get ready." sehun said to himself and went to his room to get ready. While getting ready a flashback from yesterday night hit sehun.

-Flashback-

Sehun's sleep was broken by hearing some voice. He looked around towards the bed, kai wasn't there. He got from the couch and went towards the voice. He saw kai standing on the balcony. "You can't call me this late. look at the time. You should sleep.... okay okay I'll come to meet you first in the morning, okay? Now go to sleep okay? good night, love you!" sehun heard kai talking to someone on phone. 

Sehun hurried back to his couch and pretended to sleep.

Sehun sighed he don't know what he was doing but was so insecure right now. He decided to follow him. He took a cab and followed kai. Hope he doesn't find him cheating on him. Sehun breathed heavily. He should know what's going on.

Kai stopped his car at a gift shop he took lots of gifts and put them in the car. Sehun was watching him from a distance. He saw kai getting in the car he told the cab driver to speed up. Kai finally reached the destination. He got out of the car with the gifts and entered the place. Sehun was well familiar with this place. 

He has carried memories of this place for years. He was confused, he followed kai. In between, he lost the track. He wandered around and finally found him talking to someone the way he does on phone. Now he is even familiar with the person he is talking to. He felt guilty. He saw kai in an orphanage talking with a kid.

"... When is my mom will come?! I want momma.." the kid was whining. "Soon." kai chuckled. Suddenly the eyes of the kid traced someone he knew.

"Ah? Sehun Hyung?!" a voice walked towards sehun. "Ayy... Chan." sehun embraced him and lift him. "Sehun? You? Here?" kai was shocked. "Kai appa he comes to meet me every month right sehun Hyung?" chan giggled.

"That's what I should be asking you what are you doing here?" sehun asked while caressing chan. Chan is just a 5-year-old kid. He doesn't know many things for his age so he calls kai.
